Alex's POV-

"Lexie? Hey, Princess, rise and shine." Jc woke me up with his bright smile.

I shrugged, sitting up on the blow-up mattress and releasing my grasp on Jc's strong arms.

Neither of us are dressed in anything other than pajamas so I grabbed my bag and headed into his bathroom to clean up.

After showering quickly, I put on a dark gray heather tank top with ripped jeans and my signature black converse.

I came out the the kitchen to find Jc dressed up in a red shirt with a flannel tied around his waist with some jeans. He was currently making eggs.

We ate quickly and headed off to the venue after saying goodbye to his lovely mother.

Dan looked like he was seething with rage as we all joined up about 10 minutes from the start in our tie dye or black outfits.

"What happened?" Ricky was first to ask what was going through all of our minds, which made perfect sense since he is the responsible one.

"Guess who has a cold and can't make it today? Shane. Now who can we get here to do something by the time the VIP show starts?" I've never seen Dan so red and mad. We better think of something quick, but I somehow knew what was gonna happen.

The VIP show began with me and Jarrad up on stage doing a Q&A, Dan had explained during the break.

"Wait, wasn't I supposed to be up there with her?" Jc shouted, clearly livid and annoyed with Jarrad's presence.

"I thought you left for London yesterday afternoon!" Connor seemed confused, causing a wrinkle to form on his forehead.

"Uh, what happened to Jc and Alex? It was a fan vote." Jack and Kian exchanged a glance.

Dan sighed, "I updated the website so that Jarrad was in the place of Jc. Now he can meet his fans too. Case closed."

Adam pushed us out onstage as the rest of the boys headed out towards where the other fans were waiting.

"Hey guys, I'm Alex and this is Jarrad who is filling in for the amazing Shane Dawson who unfortunately was too sick to be here today." I announced, trying my best not to seem like I want to rip Jarrad's head off.

"Alex, try not to be so bitter, I know you love me." Jarrad smirked, glancing around the audience.

He pointed at some older girl that was hopping up and down toward the middle of crowd.

Sarah ran over to her, handing her the microphone as the girl was overwhelmed with excitement.

"Are you and Alex dating? I've seen all these pictures of you guys kissing and hanging out and on dates." I got a closer look at her, being able to spot that it was his ex that he was talking about, saying that she was insane.

"Yes."

"No!"

Jarrad grimaced in my direction, "Alex and I are a thing clearly, see!"

He pulled my head into his unexpectedly, causing me not to understand what was happening as it occurred so quickly.

He kissed me as I tried to squirm away although he had a firm grip on my cheek.

After I finally managed to push him off of me, I spoke, "Jarrad just thinks that by kissing me, he will make his ex jealous when I loathe him entirely."

"Alex, babe, you know that's a lie." He swung his arm around me, which I removed as quickly as possible.

"Okay, everyone here listen to me. You don't need someone, especially like Jarrad, to make you feel special or good about yourself. Sometimes you have to be that person, so unless they understand that and respect you, being single isn't a bad thing." I shouted, explaining how I truly felt about him.

He tensely smirked asking for the next question from a younger girl holding glow sticks and cloud stickers.

"So if you aren't dating Jarrad, are you and Jc dating? Because I totally ship it!" She grinned from ear to eat.

Everyone pulled out their cameras to record the moment until the screen behind me lit up showing the boys meeting fans outside the arena. The cameraman then zoomed in on Jenn shoving her tongue down Jc's throat.

I choked slightly at the image, placing a hand on my face where the small scar from her smacking me with the pan remained.

"Uh, I guess that answers things." Jarrad stated as if he was happy about this.

I smacked his arm, enraged with anger.

Then, I recognized where they were at. Both of them were stumbling their way across backstage, tripping over an endless number of wires.

I clenched my jaw in anger knowing that everything he has ever said to me was a complete lie.

Dan shoved them both onstage hoping it would cause more excitement for the show in Florida.

Jenn came apart from Jc after an extended period of time, along with the other boys. They all looked just as shocked as I was.

"Time for the meet and greet session. Everyone line up by rows and enjoy." I ran off stage dropping the mike in Dan's hand before heading outside.

The parking lot was crowded and all of the fans that were non-VIP were waiting for something interesting to happen and I just became it.

They all swarmed me asking me dozens of questions.

"Do you like Jc?"

"Isn't Jarrad such a pig?"

"Why aren't you in there?"

I ignored them all trying to find someone in Texas who I could call. Eventually, I landed on calling Jc's mother since my parents were no longer living in Texas and we moved to Connecticut to be closer to our family so no one I knew was out here.

"Hello? Alex?" Her Hispanic accent filled the air as she sounded worried.

"It's me, could you by any chance come pick me up at the venue? I'm feeling a little under the weather." I fake coughed a few times, hoping that she would take me seriously.

"I'm on my way honey."

This is so awful and I'm honestly so sorry for not updating in like a few months so yeah. Trust me, if I could write any better I would.

Anyway, let's catch up with what happened while y'all were gone. So I just had midterms and I crushed them and tennis lessons have just started up and when I go on Sunday's there is this really really really hot guy there and holy crap.

I honestly have no idea if anyone still reads this story at this point, or the author's note, but I would like to thank you all so so much for 20K READS!!! On a serious note, I am very happy with that and y'all are the best for sticking with me and my lack of consistency with updating.
