Jisung's Pov

I woke up to the sound of ravens cawing and a hurricane happening outside. I wish.

What a strange dream. I thought.

Anyways, breathing in the chemicals I heard my beloved mum yelling at me,

''Jisung get your ass down here or imma sell ya on EBAY!''

I groaned rubbing the tiredness out of my face. Getting out of my bed I walked up to my wardrobe and with half closed eyes I picked out an outffit, in the end I look hot in every thing anyway.

I looked around, quiet. It's been like this ever since my dad died 3 years ago when I was 15.

My mum was just making dinner when my dad's boss called her to tell her my father had been shot. He was my dad's best friend and although he didn't let it be known in his voice, the news devastated him, too.

My mother didn't hold back her emotions, though. I've never seen her like that in my life. My mother has always been a strong woman but the call broke her.

You see my dad was a cop, and the person who shot him was a relative of someone he had arrested in the past and later received a death sentence, so it was out of revenge.

Although my mother has almost gotten over it, I am still taking it pretty hard.

I have no siblings so all of my dad's attention was always only at me. I was very close to him and we'd go hunting together a lot.

He's taught me everything I know. I used to be close to my mum too, however after dad's passing she was forced to work 2 jobs to be able to provide me with everything. But still she tries to make time we can spend together.

Shaking my head and clearing my thoughts, I walked down the stairs to the kitchen to grab some breakfast before I'd have to leave for school.

I should leave sooner considering it's my first day at a new school today and It'll probably take me a while to find the reception and book in.

,,Took you long enough, what were you doing up there? Looking for your braincells?''

My mother joked as I took a plate and sat down. Too tired to reply, I only gave her a sarcatic grin. She's always like this. She just loves to tease me. She's an amazing mother, though.

I took a sip of whatever was in my cup. Black coffee. It tasted bitter, like my life.

After I finished breakfast I went uptairs to get my things. When I got back down once again, I saw my mother looking at my with a grin I haven't seen in 3 years and teary eyes.

,,My big boy...'' she whispered. I chuckled fondly and engulfed her in a tight hug.

,,I am not leaving forever mum.''

I said and squeezed her tighter as an attempt to calm her down as she sobbed into my shoulder.

,,I know, it's just you're growing up and now I'll live here alone and since what happened with-''

she spoke fast, almost choking on the words.

,,I promise we'll visit you with Felix whenever we can, in the meantime you could adopt a dog to look after so you aren't all alone, and don't worry about what happened with him, I am over it...besides I'll have Felix there for me, I'll be fine mum.''

That finally made her calm down a bit. ,,Now I should really go though, Felix is already waiting on me outside.''

,,Of course baby, do well in school but most importantly have fun, not too much fun though, I am too beautiful to be a grandma already.''

,,Will do mum.'' I said chuckling. My mom knows I am gay and she is very accepting, she just loves to tease me a lot.

Finally letting go of her, we said our goodbyes and I went out the door to meet up with my cousin.

,,Ei bro wassup, you excited for our first day?''

I heard my beloved cousin ask in his australian accent the second I sat down next to him in his white cabriolet.

Felix is my only cousin and I take him as my brother. He was there for me every second of my life. And even more so after my dad died and I was going through a hard time...

And I was there for him too. I need him and he needs me. We're inseparable.

,,You bet I am, not so excited about having to live with you, though.'' I chuckled and when I heard him gasp and smack my arm.

,,You little shit respect your elders.'' Said Felix, pretending to be offended.

,,You're literally older by a minute.'' I said, rolling my eyes with a smile.

,,Still.'' We both laughed and then fell into a minute of comfortable silence with smiles on our faces.

,,Hey Lix?'' I asked looking up at him.

,,Hm?'' he asked not taking his eyes off the road, ,,you do know where the school is, right?''

I asked, with big eyes hoping he didn't forget to look up the location before he left to pick me up.

,,Nope.'' he said with wide eyes.

,,I forgot to look it up, sorry.''

I groaned, I should have known by now that Felix is a very forgetful person.

There was even a time he forgot he was australian and talked to his mum in chinese...that was a fun day.

,,It's fine, I'll look it up the location now just hurry up so we get there in time.''

After we (somehow) managed to find our new school without any difficulties, well except the car crash we almost caused and that old lady that beat Felix with a shoe in the middle of the road because he honked at her cat accidentally, we began to look around the campus, trying to find our dorm room.

,,It's so big here.'' I said, amazed. ,,I know right? Lets look for the reception.'' Said the older.

hird Person Pov

,,Room 4419, it's on the second floor.'' said the lady at the reception, probably in her late 20's. She didn't even bother taking her eyes off her computer to look at them.

,,Thank you very much.'' Jisung and Felix said at the same time before bowing and leaving to find their room.

Once they found it, they settled their luggages on their beds.

,,I want this bed, you sleep there.'' Felix said poiting at a bed in the corner. ,,Why can't we sleep together in one?'' Jisung joked.

,,Didn't know you dig incest.'' Felix replied. Jisung just laughed. Heaving out a sigh, he whispered, ,,so this is it, our new home for a year.''

And a fresh start for Jisung, hopefully...
