The Breakup

You know the expression, "Same old shit but a different day"? Well, that quote is a 100% relatable to me on my part. My current job is working as Jennifer Lawrence's full time assistant. Yes, I know, the unbelievably gorgeous, funny, talented, Jennifer Lawrence. I know, its stupid for me to complain of having basically everyone's dream job, but trust me, you would be complaining too. But this was all until the fall of 2014. That's when both mine and Jen's life changed. 

I first got the job of being Jennifer's assistant in the spring of 2012, when Hunger Games was released and her career kicked off. Instantly, we became more than just coworkers, but best friends. I would help her with everything - photoshoots, press releases, food desires, phone calls, bookings, tours - everything from A to Z, I would be there for her. After a couple of months though, things got boring. We used to hang out all the time, but her career kicked off and she was too busy. And of course, she had her boyfriend, Nick who she tended to almost everyday of the week. They were inseperable. Everywhere you would go, you would see them together, and they were adorable. In late 2014, they broke up, due to reasons that I shouldn't post publicly but - lets just say, it wasnt that bad. "This is the first time Jen has been single in ages, maybe she will finally have time for me," I thought to myself once I heard the news. But, that wasnt the case. We hung out a couple times, and I helped her get over him. A week later she started dating a guy named Chris, and I lost my oppurtunity. Until late October I got a phone call.
