The Night We Met

as the loud but soft music filled the small skating rink and the room was filled with happiness and laughter ,

a brown skinned goddess walked through the door

the bright lights glistened in her eyes as her hair ruffled in the wind.

she glanced  at me with a devilish but sweet smile.

I smiled quickly and looked away.

A rush of excitement , a rush of euphoria ,went over me as I felt butterflies in my stomach

I didn't even know this girl but she made me feel as if I'd known her my whole life and was waiting for the day I could call her mine.

I quickly snapped out of my trance and decided to start skating again with my friend Lexi on my side

as we held hands and roamed around the rink our laughters filled the room

all was fine and well until

the brown skinned goddess returned this time swiftly skating past me

her laughter caught my ear

sooner or later I lost Lexi

and was in the middle of the rink with this angel skating around me

all of a sudden she stop in front of me

"what's your name stranger" she giggles

my heart stopped

there she's goes again making me feel...there's no words to explain how I feel

"y/n" I said  shyly

"hi y/n" she says putting my hands in her small soft ones

as the music played she pulled me swiftly around the room

I felt I was in heaven

It felt as if nothing could stop this moment

as if we were the only ones in the room

she twirled around showing me that same gorgeous smile and giggle she showed me before

she started to make her way over to the chairs with my hand still in hers

and before I knew it it was gone

that feeling of euphoria was gone

until

"looks like I have to go , but I had fun with you stranger"

there she goes giggling again giving me the same butterflies as before

she then placed the softest kiss on my cheek
the kiss of a thousand angels

and then

she's was gone

i felt my heart ripped away

how could a person I didn't even know make me feel this way

the rink was closing and I made my way back to my car

I moped over to my car realizing I might never see that angel ever again

and then

I felt my phone slightly buzz

I see a message

Stranger :

"hey stranger
you probably didn't notice me put my number in here but I couldn't leave without your name
oh yeah me I should probably tell you mine now

I'm Victoria 💕"
