Words can't explain fully of how I feel

It was Nov 24th 2014

When the verdict was reached

Darren Wilson

A man who was sworn to protect the innocent

Killed a young innocent black man

And was set free

Black lives

My life

All my brothers and sisters lives

Around the world don't matter

We are not seen equal to those who since the beginning of time

Deemed us lower than them

We are not seen human enough for our lives to be valued

Every day a young black man dies

Why?

Because of fear and paranoia

Still nothing has been done to stop this

A young man who was going to start college

Dies

No justice in this country we call America

Land of the free

Land for all immigrants

They don't care for us

They fear us

They want us dead

Gone like the speck dust at the corner of a book shelf

One day I will have to tell my children

That they will always be seen as less than

Not worth the dirt on their shoes

Why

Because they are black and in this world that's a death

Sentence within its self

Mike Brown

My brother I want you to rest in peace

Even though our supposed justice system didn't give your death justice

We love you

This day will never be forgotten

It was Nov. 24th when once again

Black people were reminded that their lives

Their beautiful precious lives

Didn't matter
