I am at work and I am bored out of my mind. So I wrote this and a few other things for the future.

Izuku's quirk kind of acts like a turtle shell? The bones are still in his body, so he can still manipulate them, but they are half way visible.

Also, this one isnt as long as I wanted it to be, but I guess I just have to deal with it. Sorry about the length.

Enjoy!

It didn't take very long to reach the Hero Studies classroom. It wasn't too far into the school grounds so Izuku really didn't have a chance to get lost before he saw the 1-A sign above the door.

He stopped for a moment, resisting the urge to rest his forehead against the wall in an attempt to gain a sense of equilibrium again.

"Um, excuse me?" Izuku jumped and turned around. The boy behind him was tall enough for Izuku to have to tilt his head back just so he could make eye contact. "What are you doing?"

"Sorry, " Izuku muttered, rubbing at the back of his neck out of embarrassment. "I had a small head rush." Well, that was a lie, but he didn't have to mention it.

The boy tilted his head to the side, and Izuku couldn't stop himself from comparing the gesture to a curious dog. He winced slightly at the large dark circles under the boy's purple eyes though. "Are you okay now?"

"Yeah, " Izuku nodded, smiling up at the boy. "I'm Midoriya Izuku, " He held out his hand.

The boy stared at his hand for a moment, seeming to contemplate for a moment before he tentatively grabbed Izuku's hand in a shaky grip. "Shinsou Hitoshi."

"Nice to meet you!" Izuku grinned, his eyes glinting as Hitoshi scanned his face. He had taken to wearing the metal teeth on display for a little over a week now, so the stares didn't bother him much.

He refused to rub at his wrist. The scar didn't hurt anymore, but phantom pains would show up now and then.

"Do you want to go in?" Izuku asked, waving at the door. Shinsou nodded slowly, glancing at Izuku out of the corner of his eye. "Well, let's go then!"

"Fuck off, Extra!"

Izuku stopped dead in the doorway, wincing slightly when Shinsou accidentally kneed his hamstring.

"Midoriya?" Shinsou asked, his hand gripping Izuku's shoulder so both of them didn't end up falling to the floor. "What's going on?"

Izuku's mouth opened but he shut it again with a resounding snap. He didn't know what to say.

"Come on, Midoriya," Shinsou whispered, pushing on his lower back to get him moving. Izuku ignored the grinding in his lumbar as he walked further into the classroom.

"It's you!" Izuku jumped at the loud exclamation. The same girl from the entrance exam--Ururaka-- appeared next to Shinsou, who cringed at her sudden appearance and tucked in on himself. Izuku frowned with concern, but decided to let it go for now to focus on the girl. "From the entrance exam!"

"Yep," Izuku nodded, distractedly watching the other students as they mingled with each other. He chose to avoid the far side of the room. "That's me, although I'm pretty sure I didn't do very much."

"Are you kidding?" She smiled, stepping around Shinsou. Her smile was bright and sincere, and Izuku didnt fight his own grin. "If it hadn't been for you, I would have died!" She was a lot less sarcastic and hostile when she wasn't injured and tired.
