Buildings lay destroyed,
Not one survives the night.
They screamed
“We’ll survive.”
Sadly that not lay true.
They were only human.
Not able to fight
For their delicate lives.
Like dyeing roses
They’re lives wilted away
Slowly and sadly in front of them
They fell one by one.
Our expressions stayed
As crooked as ever.
We watched our victims fall
Each cry now sounding all the same.
With every one we didn’t
Even feel the slightest remorse
