"Shut up..." The wolf looked down to the ground, blushing from embarrassment.
"Aww, the little wolfy's getting mad. How cute." The wolf then clutched his fists and gritted his teeth.
"I said SHUT UP!!!" The wolf ran at the figure, fists still clutched as he was ready to punch the figure. The figure blocked the wolf's attack and then stood his ground.
"You know Isaac, you've changed. We were friends dude. What happened to you after the fire?"
"JUST SHUT UP!!!"
Isaac jolted from his sleep, breathing heavily. "Another weird dream? What could this one be pointing to?" Isaac got off his bed and started to the bathroom. He drank some water from the sink, washed his face, then headed back to bed. He was very tired and could barely keep himself up. As he lied in bed, his memories started returning to the front of his mind. He could already predict what his next dream would be about.
Isaac stood in a lit bedroom. There were two wolves on the bed. A female who was on top of a male, tickling him mercilessly.
"Karolith, stop!"
"Hehe, you're so cute when you laugh, Michael. We need to do this more." Michael continued to laugh on. He could do nothing but laugh. Why do I always have to have this dream? Whats so important about this one event? Its embarrassing...
"Karolith! Please!" Michael was starting to breathe heavily and fast.
"Ugh, fine." Karolith finally stopped allowing Michael to have a break. "Besides, we need to finally make a decision."
"On?"
"On having a baby."
"Oh yeah, that." Michael looked down to the floor. "Well, I mean... If you're ready for one... then..."
"Come on! I need a straight answer Michael."
"Yes. Let's have one. What's the worst that could happen?" Karolith jumped up and down in excitement. This was the one thing she wanted to do with Michael. They had been married for three years. Karolith wanted to raise a child since they were in college. It's the same dream I always have. There's nothing different about this. Suddenly, a gunshot was heard. "Oh no, don't tell me..."
"Karolith, honey, we need to hide. Now."
"But-"
"Come on!" The two ran off into the hallway while Isaac phased through a wall to go see what was happening. Curiosity was always a problem with him. What was that all about? I should be awake by now... Did things finally change? Isaac walked toward a warm, red light. Something was on fire. As he got closer, smoke covered his sight. He could only see around ten feet ahead of himself.
"We meet again... Isaac." Isaac turned around. He saw a shadowy figure standing only feet away from him. It was the same shadowy figure from his last dream.
"You!" The figure chuckled.
"I have a name you know. Call me ----------"
"What? I can't hear you."
"Oh, so now you're being rude!?" Tentacles grew from the back of the figure. "You'll regret being born you little brat!" Isaac covered his face as he was launched backward from a burst of air. The figure was using his tentacles to blow Isaac into the fire. "You were a mistake from the beginning anyway." Isaac touched the fire and burst into flames. As he burned, the figure stood in front of him, laughing. Isaac fell to the ground and closed his eyes. The fires felt real, and so did the pain. It was as if life were trying to make even his dreams a living hell.
