Lauren had packed up her bag over the last few days and they were waiting my the door. Those fucking bags gave me so much fucking anxiety, the love of my life was going to serve for our country. For our family to make sure that we were good, and while that was great I worried.
I hear all about the soldiers that don't come home, or come back with so many issues they are not the same person that their family know. That could happen to her that she comes back someone else.' How about if she doesn't love me anymore. I would lose myself, I don't know how to be me without her.
' All of this was going to show me that, Not only will I have to learn how to be me, But to also be a mom, I just hoped that I wouldn't have to do this alone, but honestly you never know when they will be home. Sometimes they give you a time and then it falls through.
I was sending myself a down spiral while our whole family was having a party. ' What can I say the hormones were kicking my ass.' Everyone was dressed in there nicest outfits for Laurens send off. Me and Dinah had went to the dress shop down Miami and it was a blast I got high low kind of white dress. Dinah said that it had to be like those dresses that the wife ware when her husband or wife is getting deployed.
To which I replayed ' No one said anything about deploying. She is going for her basic training and then she will be back.' And while I said it something in how it came out seemed off, or it could be all the damn sleep depravation that I am having since this human has no damn chill at night. I think that he is going to take after is mama.
