[Chaeyoung]

You don't have all day, Chae.

I typed even faster on my father's keyboard, as I tried to look through his computer once more. He could track Roseanne's car using this because where else would he have a tracking system installed? It had to be in his laptop.

My heart rapidly began to beat, as the mouse neared a rectangular green app, that was pretty bland, in all honestly. It was one of the few apps I didn't get through yet.

I immediately clicked on it and almost automatically, a box requesting for a password appeared on the screen.

I typed in my and Roseanne's birthday and the screen unlocked. I rolled my eyes, letting out a laugh.

You're too easy, dad.

As a few seconds went by, I realized that this was stupid. If the FBI and my dad's professional security team couldn't find Roseanne using this system, then why did I think I had a chance?

Still.

I clicked on the folder that had our IP addresses in there and quickly tapped on Roseanne's IP address. What the fuck? The computer failed to locate her car.

"Rosie! We're leaving!" I let out a quiet groan, as I shut the laptop in frustration and was about to head down to meet Taehyung in the kitchen.

"Give me a second!" I called back, as I stood up and began to pace back and forth in my dad's office. That system never failed to locate either one of our cars before. He was able to find me when my car ran out of fuel in the middle of Daegu because I always forgot to fill up the tank and when Roseanne somehow ended up in Busan because she took the wrong highway. What could've caused it to malfunction?

What if that was the only way to find Roseanne? What if they were running out of ideas and were beginning to consider telling the public that she was missing?

My heart began to race and I began to rake my hair in frustration. I took a seat in my father's chair because I was beginning to feel dizzy. I stopped tormenting my hair and placed my head in my hands.

This happened quite often, honestly.

This started when I was fourteen. I worried a lot and sometimes, it would take a lot in me. Sometimes, I would have trouble breathing, but I never considered it a serious matter. No one knew and I would like to keep it that way because feeling this way when worried is normal, right?

I took in deep breaths, focusing on my breathing, even when the door abruptly swung open.

"Chaeyoung, damn it, we need to leave now or we're going to get stuck in traf- wait, what's wrong?"

I closed my eyes, not even taking a peek at her. "I'm fine, Jennie." My voice croaked

"Well, you certainly don't look like it...or sound like it." Jennie said. "Chae, seriously, are you okay? You're breathing hard. It's like you ran a marathon." Her voice was laced with worry.

I opened my eyes and looked at her, waving her off. "I promise I'm fine. This just happens a lot."

I stood up. "Let's go."

Jennie scoffed, grabbing my arm, as I tried to head towards the door. I looked at her, confused. "Yeah?"

"That isn't something to take lightly, Chae. Is that all though? Hyperventilating?"

"I get lightheaded, dizzy, too. And my heart beats really fast, but I swear Jennie. I'm fine. This has been happening to me since I was fourteen, but look, I'm now a healthy eighteen year old, so just-"
