Chapter 3

April's P.O.V

Finally today's the day we leave to LA! Michelle woke us up at 8 this morning for us not to miss our flight. I was literally so excited to see my favourite boys! I got up from bed and skipped to the downstair's bathroom while Evelyn went on her phone to text her friend from dance. I got in the shower and literally just relaxed myself.

I quickly hopped out of the shower and put on a light turqouise shirt and black ripped shorts and my white Converse. I walked into Evelyn's room and she was already dressed in a white crop top and blue shorts and blue Vans. We walked together outside to her parents' car and drove to the airport.

"We'll miss you so much." Michelle said as she helped us take our luggage from the boot of the car.

"We'll miss you too mum." Evelyn replied and rolled her eyes. I know she doesn't like them, but we're going to our dream city LA, she better thank me for that. We entered the airport and checked in and went up to the plane.

"Bye Michelle and Brad. Thank you for taking care of me these few days." I said hugging them. Michelle was crying because she didn't us to go, but it's only a few weeks, and we're already 16. 

"FLIGHT H18 FROM PERTH TO LOS ANGELES. YOU MAY BOARD NOW." The speakers yelled. We said our final goodbyes and boarded the plane. We sat down. I was on the window, Evelyn was in the middle and a young guy sat next to us, he looked about 25. I fell asleep straight away.

*skip plane ride*

Evelyn's P.O.V

FINALLY! Finally we are out of this ratchet ass plane! I have only been able to watch Modern Family because the plane had no TVs and that's all I brought on my computer. We got off the plane and April and I headed out to get checked into the airport and went outside to wait for our next flight. 

I sat down against a wall with April beside the door where we will be boarding in a few minutes. 

"EVELYN WAKE UP!" April screamed in my ear. I shot up straight away and got up, everyone was alreayd leaving so we had no trouble getting our bags. 

We exited the airport and caught a taxi to the hotel we would be staying. It was kind of awkward because the driver was like a sixty year old man and he was listening to old country music and April and I kept giving each other looks every once in a while until we arrived at the hotel.

"Hi, welcome." The lady at the counter said.

"Hi, um, we have a room." April said.

"What's the name?" She asked looking at the computer infront of her, probably looking for our names.

"April Jones and Evelyn Smith." She replied while looking at me giving me the "say your name"face and I just nodded not wanting to talk. I was tired, she has to understand.

"Here's your card." She said handing it to me. "And your room is 216. Have a nice stay." She said and we  walked off to the elevator. April and I ran to the elevator to see who pressed the button first. We've done this since we were little, whenever our mums would go out with us we would always race seeing who would win by pressing the elevator button. I won by pressing the button, April gave me a pouty face.

"I won." I said pouting at her back. 

"Yeah, you won, you deserve a number one." She said giving me a number 1 middle finger. The elevator door opened and we entered. Thank God it was empty, it was just me and Ap. I let April click the button for our floor since I am a very kind friend. 

We exited the elevator and walked around floor 6 looking for room 126. 

"Found it." I said and pulled out the card and scanned it. I entered the room with Ap behind me. 

"Wow. This is nice." She said jumping on one of the beds. It was just a normal room with two single beds and one bathroom and a little balcony, not much if you think about it.

"Ap, it's just a normal everyday hotel room." I said unpacking some stuff, she just looked at me and rolled her eyes.

"I know that, Evelyn, its just we never go on holidays." She said. She had a point, the last time we went on holiday was last year and that was just to Rotto for 2 days. I continued unpacking until April came up to me and threw my bag on the floor. "Are you seriously going to spend your day in LA unpacking? That's what night is for. C'mon let's go for a walk. They have Starbucks around here. I really want to try it." She said putting on her sunglasses and pratically dragging me out of the room. 

We exited the building and walked around until we found the nearest Starbucks. I've never had it, but watching Vines and YouTube videos it must be really good. That's the only thing that American's talk about. We entered the store and lined up.

"Um, Ap, just to tell you, we've never had this, so I don't know what we are going to order." I said honestly looking at the menu on the wall.

"It's okay, I already know what to order. Before we got here I looked up good flavours." She said looking at me in a relaxed face. I just nodded and waited for her to order, we always eat the same food and sometimes wear the same clothes.

"Hi, how may i help you?" The girl on the counter said. She looked about 15, our age. She was pretty, she had dirty blond hair and light brown eyes that gloomed with the lighting.

"May we please 2 cotton candy frappucinos." April said. Cotton candy frappucino? Doesn't seem that bad. April and I both payed for our drinks and waited for it to come. We waited a good 4 minutes in a nice silence just listening to the music softly play while the customers chatted to eahc other. I think I drifted off because I felt something cold in my right cheek, I opened my eyes and saw April holding a pink drink in her hand and the other hand was holding the cold drink in my face. I gave her a "you're so stupid" face and took the drink from her hand. 

"So... Do you like it?" April asked as I sipped. It wasn't the best taste, I really didn't expect it to taste like this, but it was nice. April still hadn't had a sip, she was waiting for me to go first.

"It's alright. But I prefer slurpees to be honest." She nodded and took a sip, she gave me the same face I gave her. We walked out and headed back to the hotel.

"So. Tomorrow's Magcon. Are you excited?" April asked while sipping on her drink. I looked at her and gave her a "really nigga" look and she laughed. "Well, I was thinking. When we arrive back at the hotel I we could watch the movie Expelled that Cameron Dallas is in. I heard it's really good." She said and I nodded. I have to be honest, I really did want to watch the movie, as much as I don't like them. April has shown me a lot of Vines the Magcon boys make and I seriously really liked Jack Johnson and Aaron Carpenter, I also liked Shawn Mendes, but April said that him and Nash are her's. We entered the hotel and went in the elevator.

"Yeah I would love to but, I'm really jet lagged and all I want to do is sleep. Plus tomorrow we have to wake up early at 9 if you really want to see these boys and get their autographs." I said as we exited the elevator. We walked to the room and April opened it.

"I know but-" She was going to say something, but me being the patient I am cut her off.

"No but's. We can watch it tomorrow. We have our whole lives to watch it. You only have tomorrow to see those boys." I said and she looked like she was actually agreeing with me. As much as I don't like them, I still want April's wish to come true. I went to my bed and grabbed my pj's and started to put them on.

"Aren't you going to take a shower?" April asked shocked.

"Nah. I can't be bothered and also I'm super tired, if i take a shower I'll fall asleep in there, the water will be running and the door will be locked. So... I guess not." I said pretending to be smart, when I'm not. She jsut nodded and did the same as me. I lied in bed and turned off the light. "Night." I said. I suddenly felt the bed move. I turned around and April was lying in bed next to me. "APRIL!" I shouted at her in shock.

"Sorry. Can I sleep with you?" She asked making a Puss in Boots face knowing I'll say yes.

"Fine. But if you kick me in your sleep again, I'll whoop your ass." I said aggresively. She just nodded. I just lied in bed until I fell asleep.

Sorry guys for the slow updates. I haven't really had time and also I was going to update only if I had more than 30 reads. So for next chapter I'll update with 40 reads and at least 5 votes. Thanks. Love you all.
