Finally. She had enough money to get something from the local convenience store. Susie didn't usually have enough money to get something, but today she was able to get anything that she wanted. She walked into the store, conveniently named after its owner, Sans the skeleton.

Noelle Holiday was also in the local convenience store at this particular time. Unlike Susie, Noelle could always buy whatever she wanted, her mother being the mayor of the small town. It was this day in particular that the two would just so happen to be walking down the same isle and clumsily bump into each other.

"Oof!" Susie scoffed as she walked into a small figure. "Hey! Watch where your-"

"S-Susie?!" Noelle shreaked "w-what are you doing here?!"

Susie blinked. Why would Noelle be in a crummy convenience store like this when she could buy something somewhere else?

"I could ask you the same question" Susie sneared, quickly retreating the glare as she saw Noelle back up. "Wait, no I didn't mean it like that..."

The purple monster facepalmed at her stupidity, and Noelle grasped her hand. They locked gazes for a moment, before both of them went wide eyed. They quickly jumped apart and turned around, blushing to themselves.

"Noelle!!!! Didn't expect to see you he- oh..." a voice called from the end of the aisle. "Susie...."

"Nerdly" Susie turned around to face the familiar blue bird monster that accompanied the voice.

Noelle snickered under her breath. Her father would call Berdly the same stupid nickname, and it reminded her of it. Berdly saw the slight smirk on the raindeers face, and frowned angrily.

"What did you do to her?!" Berdly jabbed his wing towards Susie

Another snear grew on the monsters face as she stood in front of Noelle protectively. She glared down at Berdly, and Noelles face began to heat up at the action Susie took. In fact, she was blushing so much, that Berdly's face tilted in confusion, before fully seeing Susies evil, tooth bearing grin.

"Like hell I would even try to hurt her," Susie threatened. "You absolute piece of fucking shit, thinking that I would even THINK to hurt Noelle!!"

"I-I'm s-sorry!" Berdly studdered out. "I-I'll go!!"

He ran out of the store, and the two girls heard a quick 'bye' from the store owner. Susie turned to the other, devilish grin gone and replaced with a bright smile and a hint of blush.

"Uh..." Susie paused. "Want anything? I got the money."

"Oh, no it's okay" Noelle said, her blush trailing up to her antlers. "I'm just browsing anyway."

"Pick something." Susie said quickly before pausing again. "....please..."

Noelle felt her heart flutter with joy. Susie wasn't a bad person after all! Kris was telling the truth and out her being nice!

"W-well! My mother never lets me come here" Noelle explained. "And when she has, I'm not allowed at the back of the store, so maybe we cou-"

"You're not going to the back aisle of the store." Susie interrupted.

"Wha-?" Noelles face dropped, not only from being disappointed, but from the lack of freedom. "But I wanna look!"

Susie knew what was at the back of the store. Mainly because of her father grabbing and buying whips and chains to beat her with. However, there was no way in hell that she was going to let Noelle look at that stuff. It was surprising enough that Sans would SELL that kind of stuff in his store.

"Why don't we go get lunch instead?" Susie asked, changing the subject to something more comfortable. "O-on me of course. How does Ice-E's sound?"

"Oh! That sounds lovely!" Noelle clapped her hands. "Pizza is cheap! And I never have it!"

"You can't have pizza?!" Susie asked, almost like it had offended her. "How have you lived this long without pizza?!"

Noelle only laughed as they headed out of the store. They walked down the streets, casually avoiding Undyne, and made their way to the pizzeria.

"Pepperoni or Cheese?" Susie asked.

"Um..." Noelle looked nervously at the options on the screen. "Y-you pick!"

"Pepperoni it is then!" Susie shouted.

...

The two were out of Ice-E's before they knew it, even though they were in there chatting most of the day away. Heading over to Noelles house before the sun went completely down. The gate was locked, but Noelle remembered her key this time, unlocking the gate and walking up the long driveway.

"M-maybe I should go." Susie said as they made it up to Noelles front door.

"What? Why?" Noelle asked innocently.

Susie didn't want to mention anything about her dad. She didn't want Noelle to worry about something so stupid. She was too kind and innocent to have to worry about shit like that...

"J-just thought I should get home before it gets dark, y-y'know?" Susie forced a laugh.

Noelle opened the front door and wiped off her hooves, before grabbing a hold of Susie's hands.

"Just come in." Noelle said calmly. "I don't usually have people over, so this should be nice!"

Susie smiled, surrendering as Noelle led them to the large living room. The flat screen TV was against the wall, and it was over three times the size of Noelle.

"Want some popcorn?" Noelle asked. "We could put on a movie or something if you want?"

Susie grabbed ahold of the raindeers wrists and pulled her onto the couch beside her. Noelles face instantly went red as their mouths were inches apart.

"S-Susie... I..." Noelle's words got caught in her throat. "I-I... um...."

"Noelle..." Susie breathed.

Their lips met in a quick, small, and gentle kiss. Both of their faces going a deep shade of red when they parted.

"S-sorry!" Susie said quickly. "I-I shouldn't ha-"

She was cut off quickly from Noelle kissing her lightly on the cheek. Susie turned to her, only to see her face COVERED in bright red blush.

"Looks like the f-feeling is mutual." Noelle said quickly.

"L-looks like it..." Susie said in response, before both of them had ended off drifting into a peaceful sleep.
