I glanced to my adjacent desk, there he was, the hot new boy. Literally every girl in class stared at him like he was some 5 eyed squirrel. He glanced at me, but I quickly looked away. I could feel his eyes all over me....it made me conscious. When class started, we had to pair up. Of course everyone went for tony "new boy" but he rejected them, I was so surprised, he even turned his back on Kaykay (the blonde popular mean girl). He slowly walked toward me and asked in the gentlest way possible, "you wanna be my partner?" And after that cute smile how could I possibly say no. "I- uh lets y-yeah sure!" I stuttered, more than I ever have.
