I met Haru by the pool and on the pool it's spelled "will you be my girlfriend" I Sakura pedals. I run and jump into Haru's arms and before I answer or even process everything a couple of tears trickle down my cheeks "yes... a million times yes" as he held me I just calmed down. Our hands intertwined, after practice Haru walked me home, but Gou's words kept Ed ringing in my head "hey Haru I need to tell you something" his smile fades away instantly we walked into his house I set my bags down. "Do you want anything To drink? A snack?" I nod my head and say "can I just have a cup of water please" my body started shaking and my heart felt like it was about to rip out my chest. Haru finally sat down, and I started "so ya know I like you so much and I'm so so happy that we're officially now but I really need to tell you" there was a silence "me and umm Rin dated my 1st year of high school, and umm well he lied to me.....he cheated on me three times" I could feel a lump growing in my throat and as I say "so I'm sorry if sometimes it seems like I don't trust, I promise I really do trust you I've just been mentally drained that I sometimes overthink" tears roll down my cheeks making it feel like I was drowning.
He wrapped his arms around me "it's okay...I will never hurt you the way he did" his voice softened and he placed his chin on the top of my head. "I just don't want you to be mad at rin. Yeah it still hurts but I don't want to get between you guys cause I know you guys have a tight bond" his hug gets tighter and he whispers "don't worry"
