(SDR2 Spoilers, Chapter one!)

-

Having a secretive relationship was very hard. Especially since both, Y/N and Hajime were on an island, intended for killing. Though, the relationship was quite healthy.

Y/N, you, were quite the character. You were very eccentric, loving, and especially caring. The thought of anyone corrupting your innocent mindset, upset Hajime. Hajime was very over protective for Y/N. Especially in class trials.

During the trial for the death of Byakuya Twogami, Teruteru had called Y/N out for acting suspicious during the investigation of Byakuya's murder, when everyone starting pointing fingers at him for perpatrating the murder. Although, you knew you weren't guilty. You froze up in your podium and tried to defend yourself with incoherent sentences.

"B-but, I was with Hajime the whole time! There is no way I could've caused such a horrible crime!" You cried back, shaking. Nagito also pointed out how weird you were acting during the investigation, causing tears to stream down your face, making your blood boil, aswell.

"There- there is no proof nor evidence of me commiting this crime! You even admitted it yourself, Komeada! You put the knife under the table, with the intent of killing someone! I would never, and I mean NEVER, stoop down so low to kill someone. Murder is a crime!" You finish, feeling a little better, now that you've finally vented out about how you felt. Hajime then added to your rant saying, "No, that's wrong! Y/N would never commit such a terrible act! She's the sweetest, kindest and the most caring person I've MET! You cannot blame someone for something you helped cause!" Hajime finishes, glancing back at you, with hopeful eyes.

"Though, I've finally have gotten enough evidence to present my case. This is how it went!"

(Time-skip after the discovery of Byakuya's murderer, Teruteru and his execution.)

-

The execution was brutal. Though, it was quick and quite honestly, unnecessary. Teruteru has been cooked alive, or well, deep-fried alive. It was quick. And to be quite frank, you felt terrible for him. He was manipulated by Nagito to kill. Teruteru only wanted to see his mom although, that still does not excuse the fact he took the life of someone innocent.

After the whole class trial and execution, you felt sick. Internally. You quickly left back to your cottage and slammed your door shut. Locking it up to be even more safe. Although you were safe in your room, you didn't feel like it. You wanted Hajime to comfort you. Sure, that sounds completely selfish but, you really needed it.

As if on cue, someone knocks on your door. Hesitating, you open the door slowly to see a worried-looking Hajime. Hajime quickly hugged you tight, leaving you in a shocked state. Returning the hug back, you thought, 'I am so lucky to have him in my life.' Pulling away from the tight hug, you give Hajime a quick peck on the cheeks, whilst wrapping your arms around him once more.

"Thank you for coming, Hajime.. I was starting to get lonely.." He chuckles while holding your waist, tracing up your curves and whispers, "No problem. I would never leave you behind, love." Those words seem to make you feel safe. Anything that came out his mouth seemed to always keep you on your toes.

"I'm so happy to have you as mine." You say in a quiet, soft whisper. This catches Hajime off guard, causing him to get choked up and hug you, tight. "I love you too. Don't worry about Nagito, I'm sure Akane, Mahiru and the others will take care of him, to keep you safe. I'm sorry I didn't say much to defend you during the trial. I just didn't know what to say.." Hajime trails off. "S' alright, Hajime. As long as your still here with me, I'll be okay."

For the rest of the night, Hajime stayed with you in your room to keep you company. Making sure that no one was going to harm his lover.
