"Mommy, come brush teeth with me!"

A squeaky voiced sounded from the toilet, making the two adults in the living room chuckled. Riley excused herself from their conversation to fulfill Hana's wish.

The wedding have ended an hour ago, thankfully, because the couple were silently struggling to keep their rushing emotions in.

After the wedding, Jimin strongly insisted to fetch Riley and Hana back and told her that he would've pass by her house anyway but really, he just wanted to spend time with his family. If only they know they're my family.

The male found himself leaning against the door frame of Hana's pink and flowery room as he watched Riley tucking in the sleepy girl.

Suddenly, Riley started humming a beautiful melody that sooth the girl. Her mouth gapped and foreign language flow out along with the melody. Japanese? Jimin frowned with a tilted head, wondering where did Riley learn Japanese.

The lullaby softly echoed the room as Riley tenderly patted Hana's tummy to get her to sleep. It was a staple routine for the little girl but to Jimin it was like bringing him to the dreamland. Even his eyelids were getting heavy just by listening to Riley's smooth voice.

"She's asleep"

Jimin flinched at the breathy whisper and found Riley whispering into his ears, sending shivers down his spine with her warm breath. The adults moved back to the living room to continue their talks.

"You learned Japanese?"

Jimin rolled his head to the head to look at his gorgeous girl. Riley hummed in response with a smile.

"Yeah, Scarlet taught me"

Ah, Scarlet. I missed that smart kid as well.
Jimin grinned at the flash back of how they met in the scavenger while the kid was trying to hunt down a Sika deer.

"She named Hana too."

Jimin sat up a little, intrigued by the part of Hana's life that he missed out while running away. Riley's expression softened at the mention of the event.

"Hana means flower in Japanese. It was funny actually. Few months after her birth, Hana started munching on the flowers Jungkook bought me and ever since then, she smell like flower"

Riley broke into a quiet laugh and her cute eye smile returned. Jimin took his own sweet time and engrossed himself deeply into her smile while letting her telling the story.

"She loves plugging wild flowers and gifted me on every single of my birthday. And if you hasn't noticed, she built her own florist out in the yard where she occasionally 'sell' flowers"

Once again, her eye smile glowed and shone brightly on the male beside her. Jimin's mind wondered off to his imaginary world where he imagined Hana's eye smile while plugging colorful flowers that worth nothing in the eyes of the world.

Riley's expression turned dull and blank as she stared into nothingness. Tears visibly swelling up but she showed no emotion or trace of sadness, just numbing pain.

All these years of weeping, her heart sore and pained too much that she can't feel anything other than her immense love for her daughter. She don't know what took that massive chunk of her heart away and that kills her from the inside.

"Someone left me. Someone very important left me. They meant the world to me, from the end of the underworld to the peak of the universe. They were everything to me. But who....who was it...."
