I got back to the restaurant to see main course had just been served to them. I was taking drinks to another table, when he waved at me to come over. I looked at my boss and he rushed to the table. Mr. Jackman talked to him and pointed at me. "Of course, Sir. No problem." My boss came over and said: "He wants you back as your waiter. Don't blow it again!" "No Sir, thank you." I went back to his table and they ordered some more wine. When they finished and I had cleared the table he asked me "Do you offer dessert?" He looked at me, a smile on his face. "I'll get the menu for you." When I came back with the menu, his friend had left the table, maybe to visit the restroom. Mr. Jackman opened the menu and looked at the desserts. Then he looked me in the eyes and said: "Do YOU offer dessert? I was looking for something very sweet, but not a lot of sugar." His voice subdued, nobody except for me could hear it. My eyes widened. "Um, Sir, these are all the desserts we have at the restaurant." "OK then, I'll have to look somewhere else. Thank you. Would you bring the bill please."

Now my boss took over again, went to the table to tell him, that of course all was on the house! When the two men left, Mr. Jackman walked past me and thanked me. He shoved a dollar bill into my hand ane went outside. I put the bill into my pocket, not looking at it, as the restaurant was very busy now. When most of the customers had left around 9.30 pm, I remembered the money in my pocket. I retrieved it to put it away and realized it was a 100$ bill!! There was also a small slip of paper.

The Windsor, room 596. Please call me 917-1210168 H.

At first I wasn't sure if this was a joke or something. Did Hugh Jackman invite me to his hotel? He was at least twice my age! On the other hand, he was good looking and that hug, man, that was something. I should give him a call at least, to be fair, even if just to thank him for the generous tip. So when I finished my work shift and was waiting for the bus, I called the number he gave me. He picked up the call very quickly. "Hello?!" "Um, hey, it's Alexandra... from the 'Camellia'" "Hi, I'm glad you called!" "Yes, listen, I'm flattered that you gave me your number. You were really nice and that tip, thank you so much! But... well... I don't think...." "You are gorgeous. I would like to see you." "Thank you! But, don't get me wrong, I'm 22, and you are..." He laughed aloud, his dark voice hoarse. "I could be your Dad, that's what you want to say? You can call me Daddy anytime, darling," he laughed more. His laugh did something to me. It was warm, and honest. "You're finished with work Alex?" "Yes, I'm waiting for my bus to go home." "Why don't you catch a taxi, take some of the tip to pay for it and come see me. We can just have a drink at my room."

'A drink' – suggesting more, that's what I thought. "Please?" he asked. "I'm pretty tired, I need a shower and ..." I half-heartedly tried to get out of this. "I have a very luxurious bathroom, come on, don't make me beg." "No, I won't make you beg. I'll get a taxi and come over – for a drink!" "I'll be waiting for you." I stopped a taxi and got to The Windsor. I had passed by it several times. It was the most expensive hotel in all of New Orleans. The huge entrance hall was intimidating. I straightened up and was glad I wore a long coat over my rugged work clothes so I didn't catch anyone's attention. I went to the lifts and pressed '5'.

A few seconds later I arrived at the 5th floor and was pondering about if I was going to regret that soon. Down the corridor was room 596. I knocked, and Hugh opened the door almost immediately. He was dressed in a black T-Shirt, black leisure pants and was barefoot. He wore black rimmed glasses and looked simply amazing, even with the salt-and-pepper stubble. "Hi, I'm glad you came." He opened the door wide and let me in. He kissed me on the cheek gallantly. "What would you like to drink?" "A glass of red wine, if you have." "I just opened a bottle. Come, sit down." He lead me to the large sofa and got me a glass of wine. I took a sip and leaned back. "Mr. Jackman..." "Hugh, please." "Hugh, I'm not sure what you expect from me. I just came here because you were very charming at the restaurant and I wanted to thank you for the big tip you gave me." "I just think you are a gorgeous and sweet lady, and I wanted to see you again."

I felt comfortable with him. He started to tell me about the film, he was currently making in New Orleans and that he's been at the hotel for several weeks already. He did go back to New York for some of the weekends but during the week, this was his home. He sounded lonely. "And your friend, that was with you at the restaurant." "Yeah, that's Irv. He's my friend, assistant, sometimes bodyguard. He's keeps me company when I'm filming." "Does he also stay here?" "Yes, he is two rooms down the hall." I drank more wine and slipped off my shoes. "Do you want to take a shower?" I laughed. "Are you kidding me?" "No, I'm serious. There are very cosy bathrobes and you can have one of my T-shirts to wear. You look like you need a shower. And a massage." I had to admit, a shower sounded tempting. "Listen, girl, you can lock the door to the bathroom if you're afraid I could come in." "I trust you when you say you won't." I was already giving in. "That's a good girl" he smiled.

"Come on. Follow me." He led me through the bedroom to a very big and luxurious bathroom. It had a huge bathtub and two showers. Actually, it was one shower but it had to separate showerheads. "Look, here's your bathrobe, and here's one of my – fresh! – T-shirts. Take your time." He left the room. That shower felt so good! At the college, I had a shared room and our room including the bathroom was smaller than this bathroom. As the hot water ran over my body, I thought about what he expected from me – and how much I would be able to give. He was a grown, and 'old' man. I slipped out of the shower, dried down, put my panties back on and his T-Shirt. I put the bathrobe on top to cover my legs.
