You kept meeting at the library even after the project was over, but you would still put the book and the notes outside so that people would think you were there for that reason. Not just to see each other.

You would tell Hyunjin stories about you and your brothers and he would laugh, but he would never talk about his family. He would come to your house at afternoons, sometimes smelling like honey, the days something bad was happening.

It's a coincidence... right?

But it was too good to last.

You were at the library, too distracted by your jokes to focus on anything else, when she found you.

Yoona approached you smiling at you, like the day you met her, when she told you she broke up and you helped her feeling better. But now, after witnessing how badly she was treating Hyunjin, she seemed to evil.

"So it's you he's doing that project with! Long time no see" she greeted you smiling and sat to your table. You smiled back, trying to hide your true feelings.

"Hey. How have you been?" you asked and said some shit about how she had recovered from her break up. All that time, you noticed how Hyunjin wouldn't talk, how his eyes were begging for all of this to be over.

"You can come to our house after school to do the project; you don't have to be at cafeterias and libraries..."

"No!" Hyunjin said, but couldn't say anything when she glared at him.

You had to say no. Hyunjin and Han had warned you. But you wanted to find more about Hyunjin's life, more than he would say, you wanted to find a way to save him.
