Soon enough I stop staring at him and get myself up from the floor.
"I thought you were never gonna get up for a second," he says while looking at me directly in the eye which gave me shivers down my spine.
I laugh it off and notice he's still staring at me. I stare at him back and then he eyes me from top to bottom and grins. Then it's clearly obvious that he's grinning at the fact that I am dripping with coffee.
I rush to get a napkin and wipe it off my hoodie and jeans, but know that it's too late for that.
"I'm so, so sorry, I should be more careful of where I'm going."
"Yeah, you should be."
He eyes me up one more time which leaves me on edge. What is he thinking? Why is he looking at me like that?
He breaks the tension by saying, " My names Jaden, what's yours?."
"a..Aria, my name is Aria."
"Nice, I'm assuming you are a college student, I mean you don't look like a high schooler."
"Yeah, I'm a college student. You are too I guess?"
"Yep, I am," he smiles at me now and I can't help but smile at him back.
We then walk out of Starbucks, totally forgetting my drink and what had happened and kept on looking his direction.
"You do know that you don't have time to change your clothes, right?"
Reality hits me quickly. My hoodie is ruined, I stink of coffee and I knew I couldn't go back home because the bell was about the ring.
