It was now 6th period in the Texas high school and many of the students joined in the gym to participate in their P.E period.
Sitting on the bleachers, Cali and Pooter sat together, watching as Kentrell and Tay play fought for $10 and a pack of NowLaters.
Tay smacked his lips as Kentrell threw him over his shoulder for the third time of the day, spinning him around as if they were in a wrestling match.
"Mane, take yo ashy ass fingers of me" Taymor yelled, smacking Kentrell's back with all him might.
Kentrell laughed to himself before lightly dropping the boy, causing him to land right on his ass.
Taymor gained a couple of stares from the other students in the gym, instantly feeling embarrassed for basically getting his ass beat.
A slight mug becomes apparent on his face as he looked back at Kentrell who was laughing it up with the others.
"Awww, you pissed off the poor baby Ken." Cali said with a pout, causing Taymor to flip her off.
Taymor got up from the floor, attitude radiating off of him as he made his way to the bleachers.
He took his phone from book bag before logging onto his socials, scrolling away on the device.
Kentrell smiled at the boy, shaking his head at his attitude. He walked up to him, snatching the phone from the boy before placing it in his own pocket.
Taymor snaked his teeth, trying to reach in the oldest pocket and retrieve the device, failing miserably.
"Come on mane, give me my shit back bruh" taymor said, still trying to grab the mans pocket.
Kentrell moved back, a smug look on his face as he placed his hands in his pockets.
"Yo lil ass needs to chill on dat attitude and be my friends again. You know Ian mean it"
Tay smacked his lips again before taking a deep breath, forcing a smile on his face.
"Kentrell you know your my bestie. How bout you be a good best friend and hand over a nigga phone"
Kentrell let a smirk fall onto his face, before getting closer to taymor, wrapping his arm around him.
"I need a hug first bestie"
Cali shook her head at Kentrell's childish ways, taking in how close him and Taymor have grown over the past month.
The two had gotten closer after the whole high adventure incident, Taymor expressing to Kentrell the whole reason why he got into the fight and more background information about his ex.
Despite Kentrell being high during the whole encounter, he was still understanding and caring which Taymor really appreciated.
Taymor explained that Amar was beginning to get a little to rough with him, and although he loved the boy, he knew that he couldn't put himself through that type of 'abuse'.
Kentrell understood and ever since then the two have been inseparable. They went everywhere together, talked to each other about everything, made fun of each other.
They were best friends
But they're was a gut feeling inside of Cali that was telling her other wise.
She shook of the feeling and shook her head as she watched taymor push kentrell off of him.
The two made their way over to Cali and pooter, taking a seat on the bleacher behind them.
Kentrell snatched the NowLaters from Cali's bag, before unwrapping the candy and munching on it.
The four takes amping themselves, speaking on any and everything that interested them.
"Bro, I'm really trynna get it sum this weekend. We've been lame as a bitch" Cali commented, Kentrell and Pooter nodding there head right after.
"What y'all usually be doing?" Taymor asked. He watched as pooter smirked at Cali before rubbing his hands together.
"You know, back in the day we was doing hood rat shit, you feel me. Shootin dice, fucking bitches, eating ass... you name it we've done it"
Cali smacked her teeth, smooching the boys face in. "Nigga if you don't get yo bird man lookin ass on. We don't do none of that shit lil boy. Talking bout 'fucking bitches' last time I checked you like dick up your-"
"Okay okay okay, your dragging it, I look NOTHING like bird man." Tre cuts Cali off. Kentrell sighs at his friends before turning to taymor.
"We really be chilling to be honest. We be going to the skating rink and shit and we be renting out them trampoline parks. Just light shit"
Tay just shook his head, before reaching down and stealing one of Kens NowLaters
"How bout we all pop out to the fall fair then"
Taymor suggested.
The three looked at each other, silently making a decision among one another.
Cali shakes her head, causing the other two to agree right along with her.
"I have our friend Joe bring us there. We'll all just vibe out" Cali stated.
"Alright sounds like a plan" taymor states.
"We bout to be showin our titties this weekend"
"Pooter shut yo ass up"
