chapter 2: the mystery

jesse grace and i walked inside i'm search of haylee. grace and i were just thinking that she probably went to the toilet but jesse was really worried so we decided to go in anyway. we searched through the whole house and we hadn't seen haylee. there was one more room left it was the toilet so we said to jesse "she's obviously in the toilet" but he said he had already checked the toilet. we were confused so we opened the door and didn't see anyone. we were so confused so we decided to go back to the shed and get some more sleep. we were asleep for another 45 minutes when we all woke up to a loud ear shattering noise. we ran inside to see haylee standing over my parents as the lay in a puddle of blood. we all screamed accept jesse. he ran out side and threw up. we talked to haylee after getting over our screams and she had said that the voices in her head told her to do it and that she kept denying them but eventually it was too much and she gave in. we were really worried about haylee this time because this sort of stuff has happened before. we had talked to her for a while and after wards we told her we would take her to a therapist. grace and jesse had came up with an idea that we hang out again tonight and bring haylee. but this time we would go to a motel with out parents. it was about two hours later when haylee showed up at my house and said how her therapy session went. she had said that the man said i had a condition called schizophrenia. obviously we all knew what it was but we were still surprised. we talked for ages when haylee agreed to the plan. so we all walked to the motel and got a room.

we stayed up really late talking about the previous night and how we wouldn't let it happen again and after that whole thing we were really tired and decided to go to sleep. how ever i didn't go to sleep. i wanted to watch what haylee did during the night. i watched her leave the room and come back. but i didn't see or hear anything. turns out it was nothing and she was just getting some air. she came back in and sat down on her bed. she looked over at jesse then got up and went to the bath room. i just thought she needed to actually go to the toilet but she had actually hidden a knife in the drawers. i didn't think she would do anything to jesse because she was with him but wow i was wrong. she gave him one final hug before she stabbed him in the chest 5 times. i saw this and i stood up and screamed as loud as i could. she saw me and freaked out. she yelled at me and finally said "get down or i will kill you" i jumped down and went to hug her. she hugged me but then i felt a sharp pain in my back. i stepped back and felt blood dripping down into my legs. SHE STABBED ME! i fell onto my back with a loud shreak and passed out. i woke up in a hospital bed with haylee grace and jesse standing around me. "wait he is alive?" i asked. they all said of course but i was really confused. last night i had seen and heard haylee stab jesse and i felt her stab me but now he was awake and fine? i knew something was up but i couldn't do anything about it.

i got released form hospital later that night having 13 Stitches in my back. graces parents drove me to their house saying i could live there now. i thanked her parents so much and then we all went into graces room. we were all just saying that if haylee ever has those voices again we will notice and try to help her. for the rest of then night we just did the same stuff watched movies made videos and relaxed. we all went to sleep accept me. i couldn't stop thinking about how weird it was that jesse was okay and the fact that no one told me anything. 

it turns out that jesse was actually stabbed but it just hit his ribs and none of the vital organs. he had Stitches 13 of them but he seemed fine. also the fact that haylee wasn't mad at me was so strange but i still thought she was so cool and i wouldn't let anything ruin our friendship even her stabbing me. i checked the time and someone had changed my time to 24 hour time so it said it was 13 o'clock. i decided to get some sleep. i woke up to grace saying that haylee and jesse were annoying that might because they kept laughing about their funny inside joke.

we went out into the kitchen where graces mum had yet again made those amazing pancakes. but this time she only had enough mixture for 13 pancakes. i decided i wasn't hungry so i didn't eat. so i sat there and watched everyone stuff themselves with food. we left graces house and started walking haylee home. we got to haylees house and said good bye then we all parted ways.
