He's my brother? he sure doesn't look like it. but it seems so real. Like it could actually be true. Is it? I mean, Goath looks like him, but not me and Echo.
"I remember you now," he whispers. Echo closes her eyes, perhaps trying to remember too. Goath places her fingers on her temples with closed eyes.
Am I the only sane one here?
He pulls me into a hug.
I guess so.
The woman driving the truck says, "this is Hiro, your long lost older brother. Hiro, these are your little sisters, Echo, Goath and Brindle."
I get it now.
Mom and dad died right after Echo was born. then we were kidnapped and raised by the Raggers. we lived with them for about three years, until we found out that they were plotting to kill us. we escaped, surprisingly at our young ages. the Raggers found out we were missing, and from then on, they formed huge herds to go and hunt us down.
Last night the woman must have fought off the Raggers, knocked us out, and put us in the back of her truck, unconscious.
