Renn's Pov

I sat and watched as all of my friends went with their parents to go home.
I knew my dad and uncle must've been busy.

'I know my dad is busy, but uncle mokie is usually here with Roland.'

Since we would've been leaving around the same time as them.

So I sat and played with my blue eyes white dragon toy until I can go home.

Then he saw a teacher come over.
To be Precise Ms. Petersburg. His favorite teacher.

"Rennosuke, your uncle and father are busy in a meeting, so your cousin Yugi is coming to get you is that okay?"

I really didn't talk unless I had too. But for now I shook my head.

I'm in a gifted school, cause ummm oh yeah my dad says 'I'm his special present, cause I have his brain.'

I get it.

I'm very smart.

I just wonder though....

Sometimes when I sneak to peek at my dad when he's home in his study.

He looks so sad but I know him. If you saw him you would think he's mad.

When he's with me, he smiles that smile that's only for me and my uncle mokie.

I watch all of my friends and they have dads and a mom.

I've never seen my dad with a girl.

I know my mom is in heaven, and uncle mokie said she's always watching and protecting me.

So maybe my dad just needs a girlfriend so I can have a mommy.

"Hey Renn, you ready to go?"

Looks like cousin Yugi is here, but he's with someone that isn't Tea'.

I narrowed my eyes the same way I saw my dad do.

I'm shy around people I don't know.

I went over to Yugi and this girl.

She got down to my level when I walked up to them.

"Aww Yugi he's so cute. Hello Renn, my name is Megan." Smiling the whole time.

Yugi scratched the back of his head.

"Yeah, Renn don't worry, She's our friend from America. She's nice trust me."

'Hmmm this girl doesn't seem bad up close.'

'I guess I can trust her since she knows cousin Yugi and Tea'

I shook her hand and smiled back.

'Maybe my dad can like her and I get a mom.'

Megan Pov-

Hey I'm Megan Thompson.

I am 20 years old and I just moved to Japan.

I took Japanese in college, so I'm not lost on the language, but Tea told me her boyfriend and his friends can speak English.

When I met Tea' two years ago in America, I told her I was saving up to move here.

So here I am.

Yugi and I were just heading out to lunch when he got a call from his cousin to go pick up a baby.

He explained to me that his cousin is working in a large company, and wasn't able to go pick up the little tyke.
So I'm happy that Yugi was nice enough to do the favor.

I didn't expect to see a such a cute little boy with dark blue eyes and frowning.

'Yugi told me that this boy is very wise for his age. So most likely he doesn't trust me. So I'll bare my arms and show that I'm not a threat.'

So just as I said I introduced myself to him and held my hand out.

Then he smiled and shook my hand I melted.

Yugi ruffles his hair bringing my attention to the white color on the side.

"Yugi, did someone dye his hair?"
I questioned.

Yugi shook his head picking up Renn as we start walking.

"Nah, he had this streak ever since I've known him. It's natural."

I was shocked.

Hmmm 🤔 I've never seen natural hair two colors.

"Renn, do you wanna go eat with me and Megan?"

The boy shook his head. "Yes."

Renn turned his eyes to me.
Yugi then turned to me as well.

"Wanna go to KaibaLand?"

I was confused.

But was startled when I saw Renn smile and start bouncing in Yugi's arms yelling:

"Yes please please! I wanna go, I wanna go."

Then they turned to me.

"Well I guess we're going to KaibaLand."
