RECAP:
"And to think I was prepared to beat up some poor kid to get out of this place!" I laughed harder, but stopped when I noticed he wasn't laughing with me. I looked up to see his pretty face nervous and sad.
"What's up?" I asked, concerned.
"There is more to this dump than meets the eye... I can feel it..." He tore his gaze away from some random object to meet my confused gaze.
"Like what?" I cocked my head to the side and Christie hopped down the stairs to stand next to me, on the opposite side of Damien.
"I don't know, but we're gonna find out." I laughed at how clique that sounded and he chuckled, realising the clique in his words aswell.

CHAPTER 4!
He began to walk slowly up the stairs and I followed, gesturing for Christie to do the same. He lead us around a few corners, and we ran into around… Oh, I don’t know… A MILLION SPIDERWEBS, before he stopped in front of a door. Suprisingly, it wasn’t eroded and shit like the others. Excuse my french but, the rest of the doors were pieces of shit, to be frank.
“What the heck?” Damien exclaimed, surprised at the… Newness… Of the door. I stepped in front of him and attempted turning the handle. Locked.
“Typical…” I muttered, and turned back to Damien and my sister.
“What now?” Christie asked.
“We go to sleep… It’s like…” Damien looked at his watch, “10… Whoah. Time flies.”
“Wow. Already?” I was flabbergasted. Time really does fly. I scanned the hallway we were in, and finally found a window. Huh. It was nightime, that’s for sure. The moon was almost full… All at once, I became tired as my body caught up with my mind. Okay, it was totally 10pm. I yawned and so did Damien.
“Yeah… Whoah, that’s contagious…” He yawned a couple more times and we all walked back down the hallway together, trying to remember where we came from.
“Are you sure we have to go down that way? I could have sworn we came from… UGH. I don’t know… I’m too tired for this…” I ran my fingers through my hair. The fact that the hallways didn’t have lights was NOT helping my… *yawn*… drowsiness. Christie leant up against a wall, eyes half closed. She looked like she could’ve just passed out on the spot. Damien saw what I was looking at and picked her up.
“I don’t remember where we came from, but I’m sure I’ll eventually find something familiar…”
“What, like a specific patch of mould? There’s nothing here.”
“Har, har. Just trust me.”
“Whatever…” I dragged my feet and followed him down the hallway. We passed a window and the moonlight hit my skin. I looked outside, and the yellow eyes of the hot-but-I-smoke guy met my gaze. I gasped and jumped back, hitting the wall opposite with a thump. Since when did he have yellow eyes?! I looked back out the window and he was gone; all that could be seen was a bright moon and a broken-down town. Gosh, was there anything in this town half-decent? …Except for that door, of course. I was way too tired… Hallucinations were so not normal. I turned back to where Damien and Christie were, but they were gone too. The hallway was super-long, and didn’t end for what seemed like miles. There was no way they could’ve gotten so far so fast! I sighed and walked down the hall by myself.
‘I’ll try and make my own way back, then maybe Christie and Damien will be there.’ I thought.
Eventually, I made it to the end of the hall, and looked both ways. Two different ways to go. I decided to go left; less cobwebs and it actually had a pot plant. A dead one, but still… a pot plant. After about 10 minutes of walking in random directions, I finally found the staircase we came from.
YES!
I walked to where my room should have been, and turned the doorknob cautiously. I pushed the door open, and fortunately, it was Christie’s and my room. Christie wasn’t there, but I was too tired look for her. She was probably with Damien, anyway. I flopped down on my bed and looked out the window, and at the sky.
“Night mum… Night, daddy…” I whispered, hoping they could hear me. I closed my eyes and fell asleep immediately.
