Crying hurts
why do we cry?
to wash away the sadness in our eyes?
if that is the case, what about our hearts?
Do they shed a tear when they're ripped apart?
tears feel like acid, burning our eyes
Perhaps they're the essence of hatred and lies?
If it is so, when we cry as we do,
are we ridding our selves of our sorrows too?
Perhaps with every tear we get closser to forgetting
and if we don't cry it turns into regretting
If we hold it all in, and don't shed a drop
the anger and sadness will build up, and our heart will go pop
