Revengepaw grinned as he stepped back into the camp. Bloodpelt and Autumn Leaf were talking in the clearing. Shimmerpaw and Brownpaw followed after their brother. Bloodpelt turned to the three apprentices and smiled.
"Hey, Winterpaw!" Autumn Leaf called. Revengepaw's fur ruffled.
"My name is Revengepaw now, Autumn" Revengepaw growled in a taunting tone. Autumn Leaf looked kinda shocked. Bloodpelt grumbled, "Well, Thats not her name either, Winter"
"I didn't ask you, Blood Butt!" Revengepaw snapped back. The two newly made pack mates froze, but then burst into laughter after a few seconds. Revengepaw bared his teeth.
"Why are you laughing?! You should be angry!" Revengepaw snarled, but then he heard his sisters laughing too. "H-hey! Shimmerpaw! Brownpaw!" He barked, shocked and betrayed.
"That was the worst comeback I have ever heard!" Shimmerpaw gasped out between laughs. "Blood Butt! Haha!" Brownpaw snickered. Revengepaw grumbled and stomped off to the apprentices den.
"Awww come on, that was funny!" Brownpaw barks as she and Shimmerpaw chase after their brother to the apprentices den. Bloodpelt and Autumn Leaf just chuckled as the apprentices ran away. Shadeheart, Sunfur, and Firepelt were walking into camp and saw the apprentices running away.
"What's up with them?" Sunfur asks to Bloodpelt. "Winterpaw called me Blood Butt, and he got mad when we laughed at the comeback." Bloodpelt chuckled. Sunfur, Firepelt, and Shadeheart all break out into laughing. Revengepaw screams angrily before bolting out of the camp, closely followed by his sisters. Bloodpelt just laughed with the others as the apprentices run away. When the laughing died down, Bloodpelt was able to hear his father say,
"I know he's my brother, but he doesn't deserve to live so happy over there!" Blood Moon snarls from the alpha cave. Bloodpelt tried to keep listening, but the other wolves next to him started talking, drowning out the conversation in the cave. Bloodpelt slowly sneaks around the base of the rock. Blood Moon and Blood Bird's ears come into view, just above the rock.
"We don't have enough wolves to attack ALL of the people on that island. Why don't we just attack Milky Way?" Blood Bird asks, replied by an annoyed huff from Blood Moon.
"Hmmm... Fine" Blood Moon replies, "We should tell the rest of the pack about the plan then, but not right now."
As they continued talking, Bloodpelt slowly climbed up the rock, until he was standing behind his parents.
"Oh hey Bloodpelt. We were just planning our attack on Milky way!"
Bloodpelt's fur lifted. What?! Why Milky Way? What did he do wrong? He shook of his thoughts. "Your brother?" Bloodpelt questioned. "Yeah! The one that decided to bring an outsider into the pack!" Blood Moon snapped.
Bloodpel stood in shock. Rocky... "Why in the world would my brother care so much about an outsider?" Blood Moon growled.
"What if they were related?" Bloodpelt questioned. Blood Moon lifted an eye brow, so Bloodpelt continued.
"Milky Way could have had pups with an outsider, and just never told you?" Bloodpelt said, his confidence low.
Blood Moon nodded slightly, understanding what his son meant. "If he did, then good riddance. No wolf should ever take an outsider as a mate" Blood Moon snarled.
Blood Bird and Blood Moon went back to talking, but Bloodpelt just looked at the ground.
What if I'm right?..... Rocky and I would be cousins, and Blood Moon would have exiled his own family!
