Part 1 recap: "I take it you haven't heard the news," she waits for her besties face to drop, "The whole exam is in pairs!" Mari is shook. The expression on her face was priceless.
"But what if I'm paired with Adrien and I cause him to fail or hurt his perfect face, then he will hate me forever and then we won't get married or have three kids named, Hugo, Louis and Emma, or get a hamster!" Mari started dramatically sobbing until someone snuck up behind her. "I love hamsters," It was Adrien. "Do you wanna partner up for this?" He gestures at the obstacle course freshly set up for the eager students to start the exam. Alya and Nino were partners, that's why she was so excited. The other pairs were; Alex and Kim, Max and Sabrina, Ivan and Mylene, Rose and Juleka and finally Chloé and Nathaniel. That only left Mari and Adrien to be partners. "Yeah I-I guess," was her response to the question asked by Adrien. "Alright, since the pairs are sorted, I'll explain the rules," the voice came from behind a piece of paper with the instructions. "1. Please do not use any loopholes to get around the course 2. You have the whole lesson to complete the task, so don't rush 3. Please work together with your partner. Ok, that seems to be all so have fun and your time starts now!" A siren goes off and everyone sprints over to the start. The first obstacles included a wall to clamber over and monkey bars to swing across. Both secret superheroes found this easy, but Mari was too short to reach the bars and Adrien had to awkwardly, but easily, lift her up. The next part gave off a Parisian rooftop vibe with differentiating levels and replica pipes and chimneys. Adrien and Marinette zoomed through, shocking everyone, including each other, with their talent.
"I didn't know you could move like that Mari," Adrien inquired. "I could say the same about you," Mari teased, yep she had actually joked around with Adrien, the Adrien Agreste. Why? Because she was in full Ladybug mode and there was nothing stopping her now.
