Chapter 3

Wow! I got 14 reads after a few days/weeks! Didn't expect that to happen. Sorry for the delay! Here's chapter 3.

As I woke up and did my usual routine. I heard someone ringing the doorbell outside.

I opened the door while wearing a towel on my head and holding a toothbrush. I look like I just woke up...

"Who is it?" What shocked me was that Meiko came to my house crying.

"Why, what happened?!" I worriedly asked. I gave her hot choco to calm her down.

"Thanks." She whispered. "Your welcome." I smiled. "Sorry for coming to your house all of a sudden... It's because, I saw Kaito with another girl..." She sobbed.

Why would Kaito be with a girl? "Oh, I'll ask him about it. Why were you absent yesterday?" I directly asked my question.

"Umm..." There was a sudden pause and awkwardness filled the air. "My mother and my dad were going to get a divorce. They had a fight and left me in the house." She replied making a terrified look on her face as she recalled what happened.

Tears began to roll down her cheeks again. "Please don't cry anymore. For now, you can live with me! My parents are always travelling around the world. I'm kinda lonely, you know?" I suggested hoping for her to say yes.

"I'd be glad to stay with you!!" She quickly brightened up after I told her to stay in my house. "Isn't that a good thing!" I giggled.

"Why don't we get your stuff so that you can stay here until your family problems are settled..." I said while patting her back.

"I'll be doing that!" Meiko dashed out of the house with an excited atmosphere with her.

Meiko's POV

As I ran to my house, I heard noises. Loud noises. I came closer to the door...

I placed my ear on the door to hear what was happening...

Can't you just shut up for once?! I'm trying to think!!!

What the hell is wrong with you?! Go to hell, will you?! I'll leave this house fine!!

Shut your mouth! I have no time for this nonsense. You're a waste of time!!!

*Glass crashing, thrown around*

Just die! I'll take Meiko with me! I was the one who had to bear her, do you know that pain?!

Who cares about what you feel. You cheated on me while I was on a business trip!

So the blame is on me now?! You also cheated on me! Plus, you even did it with her! She called you at midnight!!!

That was a friend...

Oh really? What was her name again, Bianca? Oh, Bianca texted this to your phone "Hey hone! When are you gonna com back to US? I'll be waiting, love ya!!!"

Well, you also did it with 2 guys!!!

I hear footsteps coming closer. I need to move away.

The door slammed open letting them see tears pouring down from my eyes...

"Meiko honey... Come with me! Let's explore the world. I'll give you anything you want along with your new mother!" He said.

"Filthy..." I whispered.

"Excuse me darling. What did you say?" He asked confused.

"You filthy son of. Bitch. Go die in hell! Both of you, leave! I don't want to see any of your filthy faces anymore! The next time I see it, I swear I'll commit murder. You know who I'll murder? Both of you!" I panted. I said everything that I wanted in one go! It felt refreshing...

They looked at me with their filthy faces. I glared at both of them... After that, they ran.

I looked back, they weren't there anymore... They deserve it! Tears rolled down my cheeks as I gave a malicious laugh...

"Meiko-chan? Why are you crying?" I heard a voice behind me. It was a gentle and mature voice. I looked behind again...

It was Luka. I ran to her and gave her a big hug and cried 'til no more tears will come out.

After an hour and a half, I told her everything.
