Gaara x Naruto (Ongoing)

Chapter 4

Sasuke was the first one to wake up, alongside Gaara of course. Sasuke nodded at the other boy to come help him make breakfast. "So. Dont hurt the Dobe." He said as he cracked eggs into a large bowl.

"I dont plan too." He said in response. "And uh..like the girls said last night. Welcome to the family." He whispered quietly. Gaara was shocked. Even SASUKE FRICKIN UCHIHA admitted he was part of their small family now. "Thank you, Sasuke." Gaara said back as he mixed the pancake batter.

The two usually quiet boys cooked in a comfortable silence. The food was made perfectly as they worked around each other. "Is the Bacon done?" Gaara asked as he finished cooking the last of the pancakes and biscuits. "Yeah here ya go. And here are the eggs." Sasuke said handing him two large serving bowls.

The two sat the table and made plates. "So how do we wake them?" The red haired boy asked. "Easy. Oi. Ino. Your hairs on fire." He said. The girl shot up and screamed, waking everyone up in the process.

Hinata hugged the girl quickly as Sakura rubbed her back. "I had the WORST dream." She said quickly explaining how she thought her hair had become a torch.

Gaara chuckled which shocked everyone. "Your a human frickin bean with emotions!" Kiba gasped out. Sasuke gave a small smile to the boy. (Crackhead ship? Crackhead ship.) Naruto smiled at Gaara and kissed his cheek.

"Breakfast is ready. By the way." Sasuke said. Everyone sat down and began eating. Gaara smiled at the welcoming feeling of the group. Naruto held his hand softly and kissed his cheek.

Gaara flushed red as Sasuke gave him the big brother look. Gaara stayed quite but smiled at Naruto, giving him a hug. "I love you." Gaara whispered. "I love you too" naruto whispered back. "Why are we whispering?" Kiba whispered also.

Ino hit the boy upside the head. "Let them flirt Kiba. Its cute." Ino teased. Gaara chuckled as Naruto blushed. "We are NOT flirting we are simply conversing." He said. "You used a big word in a Sentence. You've changed." Kiba said in mock horror.

Naruto rolled his eyes and playfully punched the boy. "Gaara-San. Thank you." Hinata's shy voice rang through the table. "For what?" He responded curiously. "For making him happy." She said smiling at him widely.

Gaara was confused but nodded anyway, thinking better not to question the younger girl. Hinata went back to eating as did everyone else, including Gaara. (Yes i know that it was obvious. Im just doing it for my fellow dum dums)

As they ate they made small chatter. There was a knock on the door as Shikamaru and Temari walked in. "Why knock when you just walk in." Sasuke asked clearly annoyed. Kiba patted his shoulder in a loving manner confusing everybody.

"Its polite. And waiting fir one of you is such a drag." Shikamaru stated leaning against the wall. Temari nodded and looked at Gaara and Naruto, giggling like a mad man.

"This is newwww." She stated with a wicked smile. "Remove her immediately." Gaara stated simply. Shikamaru shrugged and looked at her. "We should go." He said. She sighed and looked at the two boys. "Ill be baaaack." She said, leaving with shikamaru who simply said, what a drag.

They all chuckled, yes even mister moody emo boy. As they finished eating Hinata and Sasuke picked up the dishes and went to the kitchen, beginning to clean them. As everyone made small talk and watched tv the small house really felt luke home to Gaara.

He couldnt explain it. Hed never had one so he didnt have the experience of one. Yet he believed this is what one felt like. So warm and safe. A place where everyone was laughing and joking and eating together. He felt like he had what hed always wanted. And he wasnt letting it go.

As he was thinking he had not noticed he was smiling all wide."Is Naruto rubbing off on you already? Your smiling all big and wide." Sakura said, with a raised eyebrow and an obvious tone of confusion. Gaara quickly returned to a straight face as everyone rolled over laughing, even Naruto.

"I feel betrayed." Gaara said looking at his boyfriend. "Welcome to my world buddy. Welcome to my world." Sasuke said, with a small smile. Okay SASUKE FRICKING UCHIHA was smiling. Yep. Gaara knew it. The worlds ending. Gaara looked around and couldnt help but let out a chuckle. He really was happy.

He wrapped his arms around Naruto kissing his cheek. Naruto flushed red as everyone laughed at Naruto's expression. "What are all of you. Drunk. AGAIN." Sasuke said, clearly confused by the groups outburst of giggles and fits of laughter. "No Sasuke. I think their all just children." Gaara said, looking at his recently acquired friend. (Achievement: Friend Acquired.)

Sasuke sat next to him as Kiba and Naruto rolled on the floor. "I think they may be wild animals." Sasuke Said. Gaara laughed and nodded at the boy, smiling one last time. The only thought in his head was, Home.
