AS THE BLACK SHEEP IN HER FAMILY. Beatrice Bennett has always felt alone, like no one understands her, one of the reasons is that she was sent to an all-girls boarding school at the age of 12 years old. Another reason is she has a childhood memory of her family hiding and her keeping her existence a secret, she grew up believing they were ashamed of her.

Here are some things that Beatrice hated. 1. Her name, she always wondered what possessed her mother to name her Beatrice of all things, she preferred to be called Bee (though the nickname never stuck). 2. Her mother, don't get Bee wrong! She will always have this unforgivable love for her mother, it just angered her that her mother had the nerve to give her away and then just disappear and never call or visit her.

She felt that it was unfair that her older sister, Bonnie Bennett has some memories of their mother while she doesn't. First, her mother gave Bonnie away to her grandmother and then, 4 years later she was born and was also given away to her grandmother.

.3. Her sister, Bonnie. growing up Bee was always in her older sister's shadow. And she finds it ironic how she's still in her sister's shadow even though she hasn't seen her in 7 years. Bee still loves her sister but Bonnie tends to make everything about herself and that's another thing Bee hated.

Here's one more thing she hated the last 7 years of her life, but that doesn't matter because now she's going home to Mystic Falls. Where she finally sees her grandmother & sister, and she hopes she can finally live a normal life but what she doesn't know is that the small town isn't the same.
