I couldn't read her reaction, hell I couldn't read her mind. I have a special ability to read minds with Kate I can get through, I love her,i really do but (yes there is a but) I have to protect her. Shes my mate and i am obliged to care for her, She's my other half, my soul mate and I am going to hurt her not because I want to but because I have to.. yeah I my seem a bit bipolar now but I need to show I do care for her before I tell her I have to leave .The other danger is i'm hybrid and half demon. My father had been hybrid and my mother was demon, not even my siblings know. As the future Queen to the throne no one can know, those are my reasons for leaving for a short while. Will kate accept me for the peculiar animal I am? Will she refuse to accept we can't be together all the time? Will she accept I have a upcoming war of the demons making false allegation against the queen? Ugh I love her...
"Yes you do." Thats my wolf lexy "what if she can't accept us Lexy?" "She will, have hope. You may want to listen to what shes about to say babe.. Oh i forgot to mention she can be cocky at times. shut that trap you call a mouth and listen to the sexy voice of 'our' mate" You mean me, you, demon and vampire sure whatever NO- I cut her off and shifted my persion and stood near the window I came in from and looked her straight in the eye. "Diamond."
"Kate.." I chuckled then realised I was the only one laughing "you idiot" ...Oh shut up

KATE POV
She chuckled which was cute but I was in not right mind to believe all of what she told me, she had a agenda behide it. I can sense shes not just vampire although I dont understand why she wishes to still hide all this from me. I'm sure I made it clear in the car I wanted to know. "What are you?" She looked up at me with a casual smile and simply answering with the lies following off her lips.
"Oh didn't I tell you? Vampire of course. "
Oh wow she's smooth, two people can play this game baby. I took my time and swayed my hips to make it noticeable....shit this feels sexy, no wonder girls do it to those stupid ass jerks..um anyways I swayed my hips and approached her " I wasn't born yesterday and your not leaving until I get what I want." I was so close as soon as she closed her eyes I left her hanging and shut the window with my double locks, oops I forgot to tell her shes not leaving until morning.... *smirk* "No manners ay, and I don't need to explain myself to you." Ouch..."shit that hurt, man up bitch!" Shut up. "Why would that be? Correct me if wrong but we are mates." She broke the lockes with a swift flick, "Yes indeed we are but as I said I must protect you, there will be a upcoming war between vampires and demons. My princess it would be wise for you to act as if we are not mates for here after until the war is over, I must be on my way....sorry I know it's not what you want to hear but I promise yo-" I was beyond hurt "SAVE IT..I dont want promises for them to end up broken, whatever do what you wish. Mating season is coming and I will need a mate, If you aint there thats not my problem love." She growled a venomous growl and a scar appeared across her neck but before I could speak she jumped out my window.
