Chapter 9: Ride Home

Roc Pov:

As you all know keysean just got out of jail and I can't let him know what happened when he was gone.so me and keyshia going to keep this whole thing a secret.I mean I like keyshia a lot but what am I thinking she might not feel the same way.and plus keysean is my bestfriend I don't want to mess anything up between us.

At school

Me: (at his locker)

Keyshia: (walks pass him)

Me: (looks back)

Keysean: Wassup bro (daps him)

Me: Wassup nigga (daps back)

Keysean: so what you doing after school?

Me: awe man I got to go straight home (lies)

Keysean: awe okay (walks off)

     The only reason I lied because I don't want it to be awkward between me and keyshia.

After school

Me: (walking to his car)

Keyshia: (standing alone)

Me: hey Keyshia why you over here by yourself?

Keyshia: keysean dumb ass forgot to come in get me again (mad) and he want answer his phone

Me: I would be gladly give you a ride if you want me to

Keyshia: no you don't have to

Me: come on I don't mind

In the car

Me: so how was your day?

Keyshia: it was okay I guess

Me: lol sounds fun

Keyshia: I left my keys (looking in her bag)

Me: claim down okay.

Me: now you sure you left it?

Me: damn (thinking) well I can't just let you stay out here yourself so come on we can go somewhere else until your parents get home.

At the park

Me: (on the monkey bars)

Keyshia: you never told me where you lived

Me: because its none of your business

Keyshia: but why me and keysean don't judge

Roc: its not about judging I just don't want y'all at my house (mad)

Keyshia: why you getting mad at me? Did I say something?

Me: no you didn't say anything (mad) now can change the subject?

Keyshia: every time you see me you don't speak you just give me a look since keysean's back.

Me: I'm just trying to act like things is normal so keysean want find out what happened.

Keyshia: do you like me more than a friend?

Me: because I don't want no beef between me & your brother.

Keyshia: fuck my brother (mad) roc if you don't love me just tell me now.

Me: Keyshia (pause) I do love you a lot.

Keyshia: than be with me? We can keep it a secret

Me: a secret? (Walks up to Keyshia)

Keyshia: yes

Me: (kisses her)

An hour later:

Me: (a block from Keyshia house) you sure you still wanna do this?

Keyshia: yes (kisses him)

Me: okay (pulls up to their house)

Keysean: (walks out) keyshia where the hell you been? And why you was in roc's car?

Keyshia: thanks for giving me a ride roc (walks pass keysean) claim down he was just giving me a ride because someone forgot to come and get me. Bye roc. (Walks in the house)

Me: bye

Keysean: I thought you was going straight home?

Me: I was until I found Keyshia standing by herself I gave her I ride she forgot her key so we went to a park.

Keysean: and did what?

Me: talked and chilled (smirks)

Keysean: you sure?

Me: positive

Keysean: ight (shakes his hand)

Me: see you later

Keysean: (walks off)

Me: (about to pull off)

Keysean: (turns around in give him a look)

Me: (drives off)
