Setsuno continued to clime the stairs until he reached the roof of the building, where he was sure there wouldn't be anyone else
He was very wrong.
The other person was already sitting on the edge of the building, ready to jump.
"Hello?" He whispered.
The person turned around, their face showing the evidence of tears, "Hey..."
"What are you doing here?"
The person sighed, "listen, if you're trying to get me to come down, it's not gonna work, I've suffered too much"
Setsuno just nodded, "I'm not, but, what's your name?"
"Y/n, my name is Y/n"
"Oh, my name is Setsuno"
Y/n let out a small smile, "that's a nice name..."
Setsuno nodded again before changing the subject, "Why did you decide to come up here?"
They sighed again, "My dad, he's abusive to me, my mom doesn't really care about it though, she left a week ago and never came back... What about you?"
It was Setsunos turn to sigh, "I was cheated on by what I thought to be the love of my life, she left me with a lot of debt, so, with nowhere else to go...I came here"
Y/n nodded in understanding, before saying "are you actually going to go through with it?"
He hesitated, but eventually nodded aswell. He put his leg over the edge and looked down, not afraid of death anymore.
"Wanna do it together?" Y/n whispered, glancing down and noticing the gathering crowd.
Setsuno said nothing and held Y/n's bruised hand.
After a moment of silence, they both jumped, hoping no one would intervene their plan...
The next day, it was the news.
The hero failed.
Another A/n: I feel like this is really dark and idk why, anyway, it took longer than I expected since I wrote most of it In my notes but didn't save. So I had to go back and re-write it.
