“Let’s end it now Gloomieta!” that stupid Anise said while chanting her spell while I chanted mine.
“Bloody Howling!” I shouted to the top of my lungs while Anise countered it. Well she didn’t fully counter it for it hit her arms and legs. ‘Lucky me’ I thought.
She chanted one arte after another which I easily dodge…
…or so I thought.

A beam of white light headed towards me at lightning speed.
“I can’t dodge it… I’m going to die…”
Those were my thoughts as I braced myself for the impact instead…
“Ion-sama… mommy…my siblings”
I tried reaching out to them but my efforts were put in vain, for when I’m finally able to get hold of them…
“Ion-sama! Mommy! Don’t go! Don’t leave me! PLEASE! Please…please… AHHH!”
I felt a stinging sensation in my eyes which lasted for an eternity. It continued even after the darkness swallowed me whole.
