Who will listen to the cries of children
if they all too busy building they profile
who will listen to the cries of women
if they all too busy blamin' em for skimpy skirts
who will listen to the cries of men
if they all too busy tellin' em toughen up
who will listen to the cries of the wind
if they all too busy wastin' its gifts
strained is the earth, it's plight too small
for the troubles of people even smaller than that
strained is the earth, its cries unheard
for the troubles of watchers who watch the others
with envious eyes
