My Supernatural Adventure

Chapter 2

The "gifted" have always pushed us normal humans around in school, and tomorrow I get to go and enjoy that tomorrow. It is finally the end of summer which means that school starts back up and it is time to see a good again, or should I say friend. In a world full of supernaturals, it is hard to find a friend who doesn't want you as a novelty. I have only made one true friend in my time in this world, Rebeka Miller. I first met Rebeka in middle school when she defended my from a bully. I cannot wait to see her tomorrow because that is going to be the only good part about tomorrow.

It is a new day and the first day of school. I got up and brushed my teeth, luckily I took a shower last night and put it in several braid so it could be wavy this morning. I took out the braids and highly ran my fingers through my hair. Then I got dressed in an off the shoulder mustard yellow crop top and some high waisted black skinny jeans. I did my makeup which consists of a red lipstick, false lashes, mascara, foundation, and highlighter. I ran downstairs to get some breakfast and saw that my mom was still home.

"Hi mom, I thought you would have left for work by now."

"Oh hi sweetie, I was getting ready to leave, I just wanted to see you before I left. My little girl is all grown up and going into her senior year of high school."

"I know mom, but I do not want you to be late for work. I love you."

"I love you too sweetheart." With that my mom left the house to go to work. I got myself some cereal, ate it, and then got my black sandals on. I grabbed my backpack and my keys to my black Chevy Impala and drove to school.

When I arrived at school I kept my head down and went to the office to pick up my new schedule for this year. As I was making my way to the office I was picked up by someone.

"Morana I missed you so much over summer." That was when I realized it was Rebeka.

"I missed you too Rebeka, but you were out of the country so we could not hang out over summer." Most of the "gifted" then to travel a lot over summer and other breaks because of their powers. Rebeka's power is that she can control water, she can manipulate water to do just about anything. She can make it boil, freeze, and basically create an unlimited supply. She travelled to places where people could help her harness this power and to help other people. Rebeka does a lot of charity work, so she goes to places where the people need help.
