"Mom! I don't want to go!" Little Liz told her mother. "We have too! Your sister is dancing and she is the lead!! Plus, I think you will REALLY like The Nutcracker! It's about a young girl who gets a nutcracker for Christmas and when she goes to sleep, she dreams... Well I don't want to spoil it for you!" Her mother explained to her.
It sounded interesting to her, but she didn't want her mom to know that. "Fine. I'll go!" Liz said. "Good! Maybe after we could go see a special someone who would want you to sit on there lap!" Her mom said. Liz gasped the RAN to the car! Her father chuckled behind her. "You spoil her you know that Darci!" Her father said as he closed the front door. "The older kids at school are telling her that Santa, The Easter Bunny, and The Tooth Fairy aren't real." Her mother explained. "Well that's too bad. It's sad that kids are losing there imaginary side and going straight to reality. I'd blame it on the parents!" Her father said.

"When does the show start?!" Liz complaind. "When it starts. If you complain anymore, Santa won't bring you any presents! Oh, and I heard some kids at school are telling you that Santa isn't real. Is that true? Because if it is, you can tell me." Her dad said."I'm just not feeling the Christmas spirit this year. I mean I feel a little too old for Santa!" Liz said."Too old for Santa?! Your only seven! Well I guess no Santa, no presents!" Her dad exclaimed."Dad! That's not fair! Christmas is ALL about presents!!" Liz yelled. "Not so loud! People are starting to stare! And just so you know Liz, those kids at school, they were just lying. They were just trying to get attention. Now be quite. The shows about to start!" Darci said. All of a sudden, the lights dimmed, and the music played. Clara then ran on stage, played by Liz's sister, Jessica. After about thirty minutes into it, comes out a girl in a BEAUTIFUL white tutu. She walked a few steps, fluffed her arms a few times, then she went ON HER TOES!!!! Liz instantly fell in love with ballet! She then found out that that girl, was the snow queen. She had a big solo part. Liz then realized that her life long dream is to be a professional ballerina!
