It was our extended break after leaving high school, I felt...old? Even though I just turned 16, if that makes sense? I was happy though, turning over a new leaf! New people, a whole new start was coming my way in just a few weeks! I wanted to get out of my antisocial comfort zone...I wanted to become more confident and bubbly..a new person you could say. I wanted a new me. I've always been that quiet kid who just watched over my friends laugh and giggle with the obnoxious crowds...i am actually a VERY loud person..I can't stop talking most of the time, but others that I'm not close to just don't realise that.
So, a few weeks into the break I went to visit the college. It was not really what I imagined, like...off of all the dramatic movies with the attractive teachers etc. However, I already got used to it. When we were going around the classrooms and getting introduced to our potential teachers one of them wasn't there, which was a bummer because I heard rumours of him being an awesome teacher, and i wanted to see that with my own eyes before actually going to the school. But aside from that, i met this girl there, her name is Beth. I can tell that we were going to be close the minute I saw her and the way she presented herself. So, it went as good as it possibly could.
After talking to Beth at the open evening it made me feel much more confident with going to the college, atleast I'm acquainted with somebody and I wont be alone!!
But, my other friend Keira decided to invite me to a party, Keria has always been my close friend since primary school so I was quite comfortable with going. It took alot of convincing to get me out the house in a new environment thoughx but I did it. And I'm glad I did.
