~ Hosuh's POV.. ~

It was very cold, It was snowing after all. I was all alone, that I knew of, this wasn't fun weather for anyone to be out here in.

"Ah crap- the snow is getting stronger, but I still need to deliver the medicine" I said to myself. A cold gust of wind blew at me. My hair came out of the pony tail, and I didn't know where the hair tie went. "My body is freezing... I don't think I can make it -" I was interupted by a another's voice. "Hey!" the person said. It sounded like a man.

I looked up to a branch not too high above me. I saw a boy in a mask. "Are you lost?" he asked. I was surprised to see him there, I didn't know what to say. My face felt red, but it was too cold to tell if it was from seeing him, or the freezing breeze.

Suddenly...

The snow became as calm as a butterfly wing....

The boy jumped down from the tree it startled me a bit. "D-Demon-?!" I said jumping back. "I'm not a demon- I'm a spirit you idiot" The boy said in a bit of a rude way. He was slightly taller than me, so he was no child. I closed my eyes shaking a bit, from being cold and a little scared.

"I believe this is yours?" I heard the man say. I opened my eyes and he was holding my hair tie that had fallen out. 

His voice...

His voice made the snow calm... "Thank you" I said smiling.

I put my hair back up while he stood there like he was about to speak. "I'll help you find your way" he said, "but you have to promise me, to never look back". I could tell that he was afriad of something. "Okay" I said, but afraid of what though? "I promise" I finished.

We started to walk along the path, the snow was calm, but it was still very cold. I thought to myself, what would he look like without the mask? "Hey.. uh.. what's your name?" I asked him. "Um.. Stephen" he replied. I thought, like a childs name.. "Nice to meet you stephen I'm Hosuh" I said smiling again. There was a reason why he wore that mask, and I wanted to know.

"Why do you have a mask?" I asked trying not to be rude. "Because humans often mistaken me as one of them" Stephen answered, "Obviously I'm not". "Can I see it?" I asked. "No." Stephen said without hesitation. "Why not?!" I asked a little mad i couldn't. "Because I only show it to someone special. Now shut up" He mummbled the end a little. "But I wanna see it" I said, "Besides, I don't think you'll look that ba-". "Stop" Stephen said cutting me off again. "We have trouble up ahead".

Another voice spoke, "Well, if it isnt the lost spirit catm Stephen" the voice said, "I see that you want to take my path". I looked up to see this person, they too had a mask, but also had tails. "We just need a shortcut Jay.. can you let us in?" Stephen asked. Jay? who's that guy? he looks so familiar though...

"Oh I'll let you in.." Jay said with a smirk, "If you answer some riddles". Stephen got annoyed, "YOU CAN SUCK A DICK SIR-" he said getting even more mad, "I'm not gonna waste my time with some stupid riddles!". Jay kept laughing to himself as Stephen got all fired up. "I'm just kidding" Jay said taking off his mask, "I can see that both of you have kind hearts and good intentions. I'm letting you guys in". I got excited that we didn't have to do riddles to get through. "Just tell that human.. to never look behind" Jay said, "Dan is watching his movements". 

I was confused, and a little more curious than before.

As we got a little further into Jay's pathway, I asked "hey Stephen... was the 'Jay' guy a fox spirit?". "Yeah" Stephen answered. "He has such pretty eyes.." I said. "Yeah, but he's such a dick!" Stephen added, "Pain in the ass...".
