Kala pictured above.

Florian's POV

I watched her drive us home and relaxed into the seat. She had on a big shirt and tiny shorts. I wanted to rest my hand on her exposed thigh. I didn't know what it was but my hands seemed to permanently want to be touching her. I went through the list of things we had gone over the past week. I exhaled I could do this. I wanted to do this. For everyone's sake. Absentmindedly I rested my hand on her thigh and then tensed. She laughed. Picking my hand up she kissed my knuckles before placing it back on her thigh.

"As I have told you it is strange if you don't constantly touch me."

"I just feel as if I shouldn't be even though I want to."

"Well if you don't the boys will think something is wrong between us so please, feel free."

I nodded. I was most excited to see them. To see my features reflected back at me. I couldn't believe I had children and lots of them. It had always been my dream but it was so crazy to know it was actually real.

When we turned into our neighborhood I looked at the trees lining the long road to our house. It looked faintly familiar. Pulling in view of our house, my jaw dropped. It was exactly the type of place I had imagined I would raise my family in. My vision blurred and I tried so desperately to blink back the tears. By the time we pulled inside the garage I had myself under control.

"The boys will be here later." She said as we got out the car. Over my puzzled look she added, "I didn't want to overwhelm you so quickly."

I took her hand squeezing it. If I had ever done anything right it was picking this woman as my wife. That, I didn't need anyone to tell me and it sure as hell wasn't something I had to remember.

We walked in and my jaw dropped again. The house was definitely lived in. It wasn't one of those houses where you couldn't tell that kids lived there. As soon as we walked in, there was a skateboard leaning on the wall and a pair of dinosaur slippers a little further up. Every single room said 'Hello six boys DEFINITELY live here'. Another thing I loved was all the pictures. They were everywhere. Family portraits, family vacations, family movie night, family dinners, family paintings, lots of art made by professionals and the boys, and when I rounded the corner to the kitchen there was a wall that was solely dedicated to marking the height of everyone including me, Kala, and my parents. I couldn't stop the tears. This was everything I had ever wanted in my life. The things I longed for in my mind only a week ago. I had been so depressed so down thinking I would never have this and here it was in front of me. Kala rubbed my back and that made me cry harder. After a tour of the bottom floor we went into our room.

"Your new phone is on the nightstand and your things are in the right wing. Call me if you need me. I'll just be in the kitchen."

She left and after a while I smelled food. I wanted to see upstairs in the boys rooms. It took me a good eight minutes and three breaks to get up the one flight but it was worth it. All of their rooms were easy to identify as their names were on their doors. The hallway was lined with their pictures, awards, and trophies. My eyes couldn't stop leaking no matter how hard I tried. I was so damn proud of everything I saw. Fynn had a typical twelve year old room. She said he loved airplanes and his room definitely proved it. There were model airplanes, clay airplanes, metal airplanes, and wooden airplanes. A desk in the corner had a half built airplane lying next to a laptop. On his nightstand was a picture of him and I in a cockpit. Next to it another picture of him and Kala in a helicopter. Then beside that a picture of him and both sets of twins in a water airplane. His bed was made and his room was clean.
