You were nervous as you stepped out of the shower, it was just Sam, not a stranger. But yet you were so nervous at the fact that he asked you out on a date. It was no secret you loved him, you tried to keep it to yourself thinking it would go away but just looking at him gave you butterflies in your stomach. You stepped out of the shower and dried yourself off, wrapping the towel around your body.

You played music on your phone as you got ready, light makeup and curled your long (h/c) hair. You put on light makeup and finally got up to choose your outfit, a black tight turtleneck long sleeve, a black and white plaid miniskirt, and thigh-high boots. Finishing off the look with a silver heart necklace and silver diamond studs. As if on cue while finishing up there was a knock on your door, you smiled to yourself and went downstairs to open the door for Sam.

You practically bounced down the stairs, though nervous you were equally as excited because you had no idea where you were going, all he told you was to dress nice. You unlocked the door and you looked up to meet Sam's face, you smiled and hugged him. The smell of cigarettes and his favorite cologne of yours was intoxicating. He wore a simple black button-down shirt, black pants and a nice pair of shoes. "Hi." You said as you smiled at him, he chuckled " hello to you too, you look gorgeous." You could feel your cheeks turning pink as you looked away from his gaze.

"You don't look too bad yourself Smokey." You said as you turned around, "just let me grab my purse and we can head out!" You walked inside and turned off all the lights, closed your bedroom door and locked up everything, you grabbed your phone, purse, and keys before closing the door and locking up. You walked towards Sam's car as he was already waiting while smoking a cigarette. You had no idea where you were going, but it was nice to see him dressed like this one in a while.

Your time in the car was spent jamming to music and laughing the entire time, soon you guys arrived at your destination. A beautiful little restaurant with a view of the beach, a waiter tended to you two and gave you seats right by the water. Offering you two wine and handing you the menu, you both ordered your food and the waiter left. "So how's working with Sully treating you?" He chuckled at your question. Sully was like a father figure to you, he meant everything to you and more. "It's been going good, he's always complaining about the fact that he wants to see you but he's always busy with work. He overworks himself too much." I sigh and shake my head, "he still thinks he's forty-five and stress-free that man, one of these days he's gonna kill himself working so hard. Well, either that or the cigars are finally gonna get to him." I say giggling and getting a laugh back from Sam.

You two finished eating and were waiting for the bill, you were looking down at the table unable to look up, you were wondering why he asked you on a date. Of all people why you. You snapped out of your thoughts feeling something on top of your hand, you look up to see Sam's hand holding yours. You smile at him and blush. You take a look at him and see his stiff and nervous. The waiter finally comes with the bill as you go to take out your wallet. "Hey hey, I asked you out on a date it's only fair I pay. Besides I'm not gonna make a lady pay that much." You shake your head and smile "Thank you, Sam, what a gentleman." He winks at you and pays the waiter, leaving a little more than needed. You walk out of the restaurant and walk the beach, the chilly air getting to you as you shiver, Sam notices and wraps his arm around you as you lean into him, noticing how stiff he was just like in the restaurant. You stop and put your hand on his bicep, "Are you alright? You seem nervous and you're worrying me." He chuckled nervously as he held your hand, "I'm fine baby girl don't worry." Your heartbeat out of your chest, that pet name was something you could get used to hearing every day. You wanted to tell him how you felt as you tried gathering up the courage, you stop in your tracks and he turns around looking confused.

"What's wrong Y/N?" You sighed and looked at him "Sam I need to tell you something. I just don't know how to say it.." you say, you feel him come closer and place his hand on your cheek his thumb moving up and down. "Just say it." You look up at those beautiful hazel eyes of his, how could someone be so perfect? "I-I uh.." you stuttered as you tried, you got mad at the fact that you couldn't say it so you looked down at the sand. You felt his arm snake around your neck, "Are you trying to tell me what I think you're trying to tell me?" He said chuckling, you looked up at him and realized just how close you two were.

You looked at his eyes and looked down at his lips, you couldn't take it anymore. You wrapped your arms around his waist and stood on your tiptoes, you placed your lips on his. All the stiffness in his body melted away and he kissed you back, you tasted the wine and cigarettes on his lips and it drove you mad. He combed his fingers in your hair before tugging a bit, which made you open your mouth to moan giving him the perfect opportunity to stick his tongue in your mouth. The two of you fighting for dominance, your tongues dancing together to see which one will dominate which. You pull away breathlessly as you looked at Sam and smiled. "I've always wanted to that." Sam looked at you and smiled back, his arms wrapped around you "Me too baby girl, me too."
