"My thoughts are stars I can not fathom into constellations."

"I'm Camila by the way," I muttered as we walked back to the church, "You can call me Cami."
"Well, Cami, I'm Tanner," His tropical green eyes glittered with enthusiasm and laughter.
We arrived at the church. We stopped to look at each other.
What should I say? I mean, Tanner saved my life. I couldn't think of anything to say so I just hugged him.
             "Thank you," I whispered.
He was stunned for a moment and then he hugged back.

When I got back in the church, everyone had tears and concerned looks on their faces. Then all there red, swollen eyes landed on me. One of the people finally said, "Are you ok?! We were very worried!"
She sounded real mad and very concerned.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I murmured. I was looking at the ground with one of hands hugging the other arm. I refused to look into anyone's eyes,"Just had to go on a walk."
Everyone got back to talking to each other by now and I decided to sit on one of the pews. My head was so fogged up after this terrible day. I wanted to meet Tanner again but how would I get his number and when would I see him again?

Everything settled down after a few days. I started going out more with Kathrine and tried to distract my sorrow and depression.
I was at a cafe with Kathrine and we were talking when all of a sudden I saw him! He was up at the counter, getting a doughnut!
"Tanner!" I yelled across the room. I got his attention and he walked over to say hi.
"How are you? You feeling better?" He said.
             "Yeah, how about you?"
"I am just peachy," Tanner said in response.
Tanner sat down with us and we talked for awhile. I found out that he goes to the same school as me and lives on Kathrine's street.
Suddenly, his pocket rang from his phone and he looked at the phone.
"I got to go. Thanks for the talk. I'll see you soon?" Tanner said as he slipped out of his chair.
              "You betcha!" I said, "Bye!"

I'm sorry if I'm making her recovery look quick and easy. I just want to get this story rolling.
