Y/N POV
Classes were normal for the rest of the day, I went to care for magical creatures which was my favorite, we learned learned about blast ended skrewts, which was a rather interesting topic.
The lunch bell rang which made my stomach growl, I loved being at Hogwarts because of all delicious food, over the summers with The Dursley's we nearly did not eat as much as we do at Hogwarts. Unlike Harry, I could always go for food.
Uncle Vernon was always much harder on Harry then I.
I walked into the great hall and sat at the end of the table at my usual spot next to Ginny across from Fred and George. We caught up and talked about classes.
"Snape is being bloody ridiculous this year" Fred Complained. I nodded in my head agreeing with him
I looked down the table to see Ron, Harry and Hermione eating and talking about their day. Ron looked over at me and we caught each other eyes for a moment and I turned away. Making my cheeks flush a little.
" what was that" Ginny questioned me after noticing us.
" Oh nothing" I said to her " Ron and I are potions partners this year"
"Good luck" Fred laughed at me " your probably going to lose a finger" He joked
" I feel like he's not that bad" I said them.
I looked over at Ron from down the long wooden table. We kept catching each other eyes then looking the other direction. Gosh he was so adorable, his shaggy red hair laying almost in front of his eyes. I wish I could just run up to him and kiss him.
Lunch Period was over and I spent the rest of my day in classes and a trip to the library.
I walked down to the library to get ahead of homework and my weekly readings. While in the library I was walking around looking at the thousands of books on magical creatures.
" Wow I'm not shocked to find you here" Harry said to me as he walked down the same stack of books as I did. I just rolled my eyes at him and kept browsing through the books.
" Harry where are you" Ron quietly yelled almost running into me from around the corner. " oh hey Y/N" he said looked at me scratching the back of his head.
"Hello Ron" I smiled continuing to look for my book.
" this year for potions is going to be interesting uh?" I asked awkwardly him trying to keep an up a conversation.
" oh yeah, I heard from Fred and George we got it easy today" he said looking at me as I stared into my book. " um.... Y/N I wanted to ask you if you would want to stu— "
" Ron there you are" Harry said cutting him off, " we gotta find his book before her Hermione kills both of us" he said to Ron paying no attention that Ron and I were having a conversation and he completely cut us off. They began to walk down the library corridor to divination books.
"Hey Ron?" I said before he walked out of my point of view.
He turned to face me following behind Harry "yeah" he said
" I wouldn't mind studying with you, If Harry is cool With it" I told him.
" Yeah that be nice" he gave me a small smile.
He walked deeper into the library with Harry. I was glad the Library was candle lit because my cheeks where blushing hardcore. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much.
I checked out my books from the library and made my way back the Gryffindor common room.
I walked up the stairs to girl's dormitory ready to get out of these Robes. I went into my room and saw Ginny laying her bed playing with Arnold her Pygmy Puff. I got changed quickly and sat in my bed.
" so (Y/N) how long have you liked Ron" Ginny said sitting up in bed completely catching me off guard.
" uhh....what are you talking about" I questioned her no body knew I had a crush on him except myself and buckbeak when I talk to myself when I help Hagrid clean up after class.
" Y/N Potter don't lie to me, I am your best friend and I have been noticing how you look at him once a while, it's the same thing with Hermione and George" Ginny stopped her self " I didn't say that"
" Ginny I do not like Ron, why would I! His my bothers best friend" I said quietly
" nobody is in here, it's just us" Ginny said as I looked around dormitory
I sighed " Ginny you have to swear to me you won't tell ANYONE!"
"Yes! I knew it!" She smiled. Liking that she was right.
" wait but George and Hermione?"I questioned her.
" yeah it's been thing since The Quidditch tournament, but they been sneaking around I only found out because I caught them kissing on the couch late one night in the Burrow" Ginny said. It make me kinda happy to know I could talk to Hermione about this and I was not alone with crushing on a Weasley.
" wow they are really good at hiding it" I said shocked.
" I had no idea" Ginny laughed
" tell me about it, you know Harry would kill me if he found out about my crush on Ron that's why I try to hid. Dang I thought it was good at hiding it" I sighed.
" I didn't really notice until lunch today" she told me
I just roll my eyes at her and plop on to my bed. " I swear I won't tell anybody" she says to me.
" Ginny you promise me?"
" I Promise you, Y/n" Ginny promised me. I stayed in my bed reading until Dinner time, I thought about Ron and I found myself sliming thinking about him,
