Chapter 2-

(The next morning)

-4:45 AM-

My alarm blared and I smiled. Today's the day. I flung the comforter off, springing out of bed and shutting the alarm off. Turning on my radio, I danced around the room, picking out my outfit for the day with the music on full blast. "... I don't wanna go to school

I just wanna break the rules

Boys and girls across the world

Putting on our dancing shoes

Going to the discotheque

Getting high and getting wrecked

I don't wanna go to school

I just wanna break the rules

I don't wanna go to school

I just wanna break the rules

Boys and girls across the world

Putting on our dancing shoes

Going to the discotheque

Getting high and getting wrecked

I don't wanna go to school

I just wanna break the rules

I'm such a star

Queen boulevard

Blaze through the dark

And never stop, it's how we ride

Comin' up until we die

I don't wanna go to school

I just wanna break the rules

Boys and girls across the world

Putting on our dancing shoes

Going to the discotheque

Getting high and getting wrecked

I don't wanna go to school

I just wanna break the rules

Get my guitar

Sunglasses on

So light it up

And never stop, it's how we ride

Comin' up until we die..."

I sung along to Break The Rules by Charli XCX as I threw my long white "No Filter" short sleeved tee, my abstract leggings, grey short shorts, and black lace up combat boots on with a cream colored beanie to finish the look {pic to side}. A loud bang sounded at my door, making me jump. "Turn that god-awful noise down! I am trying to get my beauty sleep!" My mom yelped. Turning the radio down a few notches, I pulled open the door to confront my hung over mother. "And if I don't?" I challenged. I wouldn't be seeing her for a while, there's not a better time to stand up to her. "Say it again you little bitch" she snarled. "I said, 'and if I don't?'" I put a hand on my hip. "Why you little-" "ha! Don't even have a comback? What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?" I teased. Her face hardened and I knew she was pissed. "Wanna say anything else?" She asked lowly. "Yeah. There's this one other thing... Now what was it..." I shook my head. "Oh! I got it. Fuck you" I smirked. "What did you say?" I leaned in close to my mother, the stench of alcohol emminating from her and whispered "Fuck. You" before grabbing my guitar case and striding out of the room, only to have her catch me by my hair. "Ow! Let go!" I yelped in pain. She spun me around to face her, her steel eyes blazing. "You're gonna pay for talking back to your mommy" she sneered. I tried to hide the fear from my features, but I knew I looked scared shitless. She grabbed me by the shirt and lifted me, carrying me to the foot of the stairs. Shit. "No mom! No. No. Don't do this! I'm sorry! I didn't mean it. I swear" I rushed, tears beginning to trickle down my cheeks. "Should of thought of that before." The next thing I knew, my mother had let go of me, sending me flying backwards. "Mommy!" I screamed accidentally as I hit the stairs. The last two things I heard before everything went black were the sounds of bone cracking and my mother shouting my name from upstairs.
