Castle Cats x Cat Reader Oneshots ((REQUESTS OPEN))

~•Conan x Reader•~

Today is your first day at the guild, the leader recruited you yesterday evening.

You're pretty nervous, but you keep telling yourself that it's gonna be alright. You walk into the guild, and a fluffy orange kitten runs up to you and almost screams at you with excitement, "Hi!!"

You give the small cat an odd look before saying "Uh.. Hi there." She smiles at you and says, "I'm Curio! Welcome to our guild!" She gestures for you to follow her, and you do. She walks over to a group of cats, one golden orange, one all white, and a grey cat with black stripes. Curio asks for your name, and you say, "I-I'm y/n.." The grey cat smiles and says, "Hi y/n, I'm Conan, That's Catniss, and the grumpy one's Francis." He said with a slight giggle. Francis looks at Conan and replies, "WHAT!? I'm not grumpy!!" You stiffle a laugh. "Suuuuure" says Catniss, and she and Conan burst out laughing . You joined them in their laughing fit, and Curio bounds away to another kitten.

"Welp, I'm gonna go meet up with purrcila." Catniss states, then Francis adds, "And I'm going to go with Halley to teach her the basics of magic." Then they walk away, both in different directions.

"Well, it's just you and me now" Says Conan. You look at him and say, "I guess. What do you wanna do?" He thinks for a moment, but finally says, "Oh I know!! We could go on a quest together!"

"What? But I'm no good at fighting!" You say, smiling at him. He makes a 'pffffffft' noise.

"I could protect you! No zombie dog makes it past this cat!!" He says, holding up his sword, and his helmet falling over his face. You giggle quietly and say, "You would do that?" He gives you a confused look. "Do what?" A very faint pink color dusted your cheeks as you say, "Protect me.." He smiles at you and says happily, "Of course I would! Why wouldn't I?" You look down at your paws and mumble, "it's just.. Nobody has ever really.. You know.." But he cuts you off by hugging you sweetly. " Wha-" is all you manage to say before he cuts you off again, whispering into your ear, "it's okay.. You've got somebody to be your friend now.."
