Kalonus was Kyla's twin. However, when they were born, a dark guild raided their village and their parents were only able to save Kyla. The warriors that were collecting the children took Kalonus. Kyla's parents were never the same. They never spoke to her about him. When she had met Alex, Kyla told her parents that she was leaving with her to go to Magnolia to join a guild. By then she had already mastered shape-shifting.

The day before Alex and Kyla left, the warriors came back. Kyla was about 15. Her mother came running back to the house from getting food from the local market.

"They're back! Kyla, Alex you must go hide!" Kyla's mother said.

"Mom, what's going on?" Kyla asked, scared.

"I'll explain later but now you and Alex must hide or they'll take you too." She said. "I can't lose you too." Kyla was really confused but she grabbed Alex's hand and they ran out of the house using the back door.

"Kyla, where are we going?" Alex asked.

"I don't know. I just know we have to get away from the village." Kyla said.

"But what about your parents? We have to help them."

"I-I can't! I don't know any magic that can help!" Kyla said feeling helpless.

"Kyla, I know plenty. I can teach you." She said stopping. "But right now, as one of Ur's students, I must go back and help." She then turned and started running back to the village. Kyla shapeshifted into a wolf and ran to catch up with her.

When they got back to the village, Alex ran to the village circle where there were a bunch of warriors with....Kids? Alex then stopped and got into a weird stance. Her feet were shoulder-width apart, her hands were down by her hip with her right hand fisted over her open left. Kyla thought this weird until her hands started to glow.

"Memory-Make: Night of Shining Stars!" Alex yelled. Suddenly, the glow increased. A magic circle appeared above her and a bunch of golden comet-like things flew towards the warriors.

"ALEX! Be Careful of the children!" Kyla yelled shapeshifting into her human form.

"I am. I only targeted the warriors." Alex said. Kyla took a deep breath. She really thought she was going to harm the children.

"It's against my aunt's work to harm anyone who is not causing trouble. I don't see any of these children doing anything wrong." She said. Kyla then noticed some of the warriors getting back up.

"I thought the master said there were no mages in this village." One said. The others shrugged their shoulders.

"Looks like I'll have to handle this one." One of the warriors from the back said. He then shoved his way to the front. He then removed his helmet. He was fairly young. He looked like he might be about Kyla's age. He had black hair that faded into a maroon at the tips.

"Hey! Get back in formation. We are not to harm any of them just collect the children." The commander said. The boy simply turned around.

"Look, Commander, I'm not going to harm any of them I'm just going to keep her distracted while you get the children out of here." He said. He then turned back to face the girls and threw his helmet to the side.

"Now, where were we? Ah, yes. You must be Alex Ayuma. The multi maker mage. I've heard all about you. You trained under you're aunt, Ur Milkovich, am I right?" He said.

"Yeah, and what's it to you?" Alex asked with a bite to her words.

"The master is very interested in you. He wants you to join us in fact. So what do you say, Alex, will you join Twisted Angel?" He said bowing like a gentleman with his hand out.

"What do I say, hmm let me think," Alex said.

"Alex, no, I thought you wanted to go to Magnolia?" Kyla asked.

"Don't worry Ky, I say FUCK YOU!" Alex yelled. "You can tell your master that I will never bow to your level. My aunt never believed in joining the battle of light and dark guilds, but I will fight for the Light and The Great Goddess above." She then got back into her stance.

"Very well then, You leave me no choice. I will have to take you by force." He said. He then pulled the sword from its sheath at his side. "There is a reason the Master keeps me out of the battles. I am the deadliest person you'll ever meet."

"Don't go getting too cocky," Alex says. Kyla just watched it in horror.

"Ice-Make: Hell's Scythe!" Suddenly, Alex had a scythe made of ice but the ice was red in color and it had spikes all along the blade.

"Well, it looks like you're pulling the big guns out first." The warrior said. They then started to fight sword to scythe. Kyla couldn't watch. She noticed some of the warriors started to gather children again.

"Hey! Stop it!" Kyla screamed. She then shapeshifted into a phoenix. She flew over to the warriors and shifted back. Kyla might not have good magic to use but she is well trained in hand to hand combat.

As Kyla fought with the soldiers to keep them away from the children, Alex was fighting with the soldier. Alex blasted the soldier with multiple spells. Soon enough, he laid with his back on the ground. Alex stood over the warrior. Kyla could see that they were talking. She returned the children to their homes and families and ran back over to Alex.

"Hey, Alex all the kids are back home," Kyla said, but she didn't seem to notice her.

"Why does your master want me?" Alex demanded. She had her scythe pointed towards the warrior.

"He didn't say why, he just said he wanted you." The warrior gulped out.

"What's your name?" Alex asked.

"K-Kalonus." he choked out. Just then Kyla heard a shriek from behind her. She whipped around to see her mom. She was crying.

"K-Kalonus, is it really you? Why?" She said. Kyla turned to look at Kalonus. She saw hatred cross his face.

"You chose to save my sister. You didn't give a shit about me. You spoiled her over me. You're a BITCH!" Kalonus screamed. Kyla's mother started sobbing and dropped to her knees. Kyla walked up to Kalonus and bent down. Before he even knew what was happening, she had slapped him.

"Don't you EVER call my mother a bitch!" Kyla said with tears in her eyes. "She tried to save you. She tried to save us both. She turned around for a second to help me hide and when she turned back around you were gone."

"Still she never tried to find me. She never cared about me. She always favored you over me." Kalonus said.

"I never favored you over your sister. And I couldn't come to find you because the guild that took you always has a warrior stay behind to make sure none of us follow them. If we do, they'll kill us." Kyla's mother had come to stand behind her. "I'm sorry Kal. I wanted to come to find you, but I also had to protect your sister and I couldn't make her an orphan if I got caught. It tore me up day after day that I just let them take you." Their mother had started crying.

"Alex, let him up," Kyla said. She did as she asked. Kalonus stood up and rubbed his neck where Alex had her scythe.

"Look, you can tell me whatever lies you want. I know you favored Kyla over me." He said. Kyla stood up and looked at him.

"They're not lies, Kalonus. Day after day, Mom sat in her room and cried. Every night she cried herself to sleep." Kyla said.

"Whatever, I'm going back to my master. I never want anything to do with you." He said as he started running towards the village entrance. Kyla started to follow him when suddenly he disappeared.

'Teleportation.' Kyla thought. Alex came running up next to her.

"Kyla, we need to go. I think it's best if we leave for the guild now." Alex said.

"I can't just leave my mom here. What if they come back again?" Kyla said with worry in her voice.

"I can put a barrier around the village so those warriors can't get in. Not even with teleportation," Alex said reassuring her.

"O-ok. Let me go get my stuff."
