Chapter 5:
I texted Jace and told him where we would go. We were in Damien’s car, me and Hannah sitting on the back and Damien with Oscar in the front.
“Tell me everything.”
“Boring...”
“Shut up Damien!” Hannah said!
“Just a summary. We met the day of Eric’s funeral, I was in the park and he came next to me and talked to me. ok, I have to admit I liked him. He gave me his jacket because it was very cold that night. He walked me home and he left. I just knew his name, anything else at all. He forgot his jacket. The next morning was the day that I didn’t come to school, I went to the park and he suddenly came and sat next to me. We talked for a while and then I remembered his jacket. We went to my house, and to my room, and gave him…… the jacket!!”
“Woah wait! What do you exactly mean by I gave him … … the jacket?”
“Well,, we kissed and then gave him the jacket.” After the word kissed Hannah started screaming like a crazy hysteric bitch as she was.
“And then that night he came to my house and I sneak out and went for a walk with him and then he was gone for 2 months until today.”
“That you two kissed again right?”
I nodded.
“You crazy bitch, why didn’t you tell me anything?!”
“I wanted to tell you but he was gone for 2 months why would I tell you? I thought he didn’t care. God he was gone for 2 months.”
“We are here.” Oz said.
We went and sat on a small table and waited for the others.
“Come on, I want details, the conversations etc, etc.”
“Not now!!” I said
“Ok, but do me a favor!!”
“Depends!”
“When he will come, pretend like you are angry with him!!”
“Why?!”
“I just wanna see his reaction. You had so many fights and I wasn’t there!!”
“What the hell,, fine!!”
They arrived 5-6 min later. I was playing her game!
“Hey babe!”
“Hi” I said as he was bending down to kiss me. He abruptly stopped! If this don’t go well I will kick her ass.
“What happened?” he asked. I saw Hannah’s face drawing a small smile.
“Nothing.”I answered. He sat next to me.
“What? Is it me?”he asked. Shit what am I gonna do? What the hell? Help Hannah help!! Think, think... What am I gonna do?!
“She just remembered that you were lost for 2 months!” Hannah said.
“But I explained.”
“Sorry.”
“Why you say sorry you didn’t do anything, did you?”
“Well, kind of. I made her remember.”
“What the hell do you mean?”
“I asked her what happened.”
“Ugh!”
He turned his face towards me. and whispered in my ear. “Come on Lu you can’t be mad at me, again! You know I … care about you and I like you so much.”
“What the hell” I said and crushed my lips on his.
“Mmmmm…” he said as I kissed him, I ended the kiss.
“Her idea” I said pointing Hannah.
“You bitch! You couldn’t resist anything.” She told me
“It was your idea.”
“And you didn’t even do anything!”
“I am not gonna fight with him because of you ok?!”
“But you can’t even close your mouth for 2 minutes.”
“Bitch.”
All happened so quickly…
“Khm, khm…” Jace coughed.
Hannah started smiling and I did too, soon we were holding our stomachs.
“Can anyone explain to me please?”
“Later.” I said and crushed my lips on his again. He kissed me back with passion.
“Hannah?! Hannah?!”
“Wha?”
“Jeesh.”
“What the hell Damien?”
“You were staring.”
“I was just thinking ‘bout something..”
“Whatever… you were staring” he whispered the last one.
Even if she was staring I knew that she was just thinking about something. Maybe she was thinking about Damien and her. She had to realize that she liked him. She had to stop trying to convince herself that he is just a friend and that she doesn’t like him or that he doesn’t like her… Can’t she see how much he likes her?
“Anyway, sorry.” She said.
“Are you feeling alright?” he asked caring. She nodded yes.
