When Richie was four, he never understood what was going on in his life. The only part that he knew was that his dad was always mad at his mom. He only remembers staying in his room for hours just hearing them argue. Now, around the age of sixteen he still hears the arguments. But now, he has someone to comfort him in these moments of bad times.

Richie's POV~

Sitting in my room drawing, takes away the pain and agony of my parents. My dad has always been abusive. My mom never left him. She feels like he deserves a family that will actually stay. I always hated it when she says that. When I draw, I don't think what I'm drawing..I let my hand flow over the paper. If that makes any sense. Once I got done I looked at it. I smiled to myself knowing that this is my favorite yet. The picture was a side of my best- no sorry crushes face. It was my most detailed drawing yet. I set the pens and pencils in my case and set them back on my desk. I set the drawing on my desk facing up and the note book in my desk. I sat back down knowing that I'll be hearing arguing within minutes. I heard a small tap on my window, but ignored it. Then a louder tap. I got up and opened my window. "Hey Trashmouth! We're going to the quarry if you wanna come!" I looked down and saw my best friends. "On my way ladies!" I yelled back. I got some of my stuff together and climbed down to the bottom. I went up front and grabbed my bike off the porch. I got on and followed behind. Once I got there Eddie was sitting on a small rock not swimming. "Hey Ed's." I said sitting on the ground in front of him. "Don't call me that." He giggled out. I looked behind me wanting to smile at him. Sure enough my smile went away once I saw him crying. I turned fully around and looked at him straight in the eyes. I grabbed his hands. "Eddie, what's wrong?" I asked soothingly. He sobbed and looked down shaking his head. I released one of my hands and lifted his chin for him to look at me. "Eddie..baby, tell me." I said looking into his innocent honey brown eyes. "Rich, you'll never get it." He said looking into my eyes with more tears rolling down his now red puffy cheeks. "I will too. If you tell me I can help you." I said wanting to cry too, cause all things I want to say..I can't..not in this moment. "Fine. Richie, I'm in love with you! I always had a feeling you liked me, but I never knew if you were being yourself or you liked me! Rich, you are perfect to me! I understand if you don't wanna be my friend." He said letting go of my hand and walking off. "Eddie!! Wait!" I caught up to him and smiled. "What do you want?" He asked shaking his head. I smiled and shook my head grabbing his hands. "It's always been you! You are my little angel! So fucking perfect in my eyes." I said pulling him closer. "Richie?" He asked looking into my eyes wrapping his arms around my neck. "Yes my love?" I asked smiling. He blushed and giggled. "There's been something I've been wanting to do." He said blushing with I small smirk. "Oh yeah what?" I asked getting closer to his face. "This." He said putting his lips onto mine. The kiss was passionate. All the pain and agony was gone, now there was butterflies and sparks. He pulled away looking into my eyes. I leaned my forehead onto his and smiled. "I love you Eddie Kaspbrak." I said blushing. "I love you
more Richie Tozier." He said giggling.
