The Hunter (A Teen Wolf Stiles AU)

Chapter 7

Aiden

Quiet everything was quiet. Scott had let go of Lydia and was now gaping at Theron who had his hood down. He had bags under his eyes, and brown hair in a small quiff, and he was sickly pale. However part of the pack was frozen. I think Scott was tearing up.

Scott muttered something I couldn't hear ,then neared Theron. Whom snapped out of his shock and threw Kira off, and stood up. While Kira scrambled away. However, Scott didn't seem to notice, he was now walking very fast towards Theron, but before he could reach him. A random hunter ran out from besides Gerard and attacked him. All the other hunters followed his lead. I along with all the other surged foreword, and attacked. However I noticed that Scott, Lydia, Allison, and Derek kept on trying to reach Theron., or to find him he had completely disappeared.

"Stop!" A voice yelled. The hunter stopped fighting, and again formed a line besides Gerard. Theron was to his left. Gerard tilted his head to his right and muttered something into the hunters ear. The hunter nodded and walked over roughly grabbing Theron by the arm. I saw Scott lunge foreword, but he was stopped by Peter. I myself had to stop Lydia.

The hunter then dragged Theron out the building, and I was holding back a Lydia who now had tears in her eyes.

"Sorry Scott. You didn't accept my deal I'm going to keep Theron." Gerard said. Then the hunter seemed to take out a small object and throw it at our feet.

I started to choke.

Kira

"Scott?" I said. He had knelled down coughing. I looked around and noticed everyone had, everyone except for Allison, Lydia, and me.

"It's Wolfsbane" Allison said. "We have to get them out of here."

I immediately grabbed Scott and put his hand over my shoulder, then rushed back to help Derek. When I got back outside. Scott was leaning by a tree. Derek was panting on his knees. Aiden was laying on the floor starring off into space. Allison was fumbling over Isaac's wounds, and Lydia was comming out with Peter's hand over her shoulder.

"Ethan's gone." She said.

Aidan sat bolt upright, and flew over to Lydia, "What do you mean he's gone?" He yelled.

"I mean, he's not in there. He disappeared."Lydia said. She didn't seem to really care though.

"We have to go find him. We have to-"

"We have to go find Theron." Scott said.

"What? You want to go after a werewolf hunter?" I said incredulously.

"HE'S NOT A WEREWOLF HUNTER!" he yelled.

I flinched back he seemed off.

"Sorry." He muttered then turned away. He seemed to look up at the sky then fell to his knees crying. I started to walk closer to him, but Allison signaled for me not to. She then walked over to Scott and started muttering something into his ear.

"Why are we not killing Theron right now?"Aidan asked to no one in particular.

"We're not going to kill him." Allison spoke still besides Scott.

"Well then can we at least cut off his leg or something "Aidan said. I was kinda glad at least someone wasn't acting weird. Everyone else had since I took of Theron's hood.

"No! We're not hurting, or killing him!" Scott yelled. Raising his head and blaring his red eyes at Aidan. Who immediately lowered his head, and stood silent.

"Why not?" I said. "He tried to kill Lydia and me, and he kidnapped Ethan."

"That's not him." Peter said.

"Peter you saw him it was him, he looked different. He had better hair and he is sickly pale. But it's him I know it." Lydia said.

I was completely confused. What where they talking about?

"I mean he's different not physically; mentally. The real him would never turn against his friends." Peter explained.

"Wait you're friends with Theron?!" Aidan asked incredulously. 

"We used to be." Derek said. 

"We still are." Allison defended. She looked shocked by Derek's response. 

"No, we're not anymore. He attacked us. Tried to kill us and has kidnapped Issac, and now Ethan." Derek said. 

"He didn't take Ethan he was being dragged out of the room. He wouldn't have been able to take him even if he wanted to." Lydia said.

"He still attacked us. He even tried to kill Scott." Derek protested.

"So you agree we should kill him."Aiden piped up. He seemed to be happy at the thought of Theron dying.

"W-"
Derek was cut off by Scott who was now on his feet , and was glaring hard at both Aiden and Derek. "He's our friend,and like it or not Derek he is part of the pack. We will find out what's wrong with him, and we will help him."Scott said

"What if nothing is wrong with him. What if he really does want to help Gerard defeat us." Derek said. 

"No, he wouldn't do that." Lydia said. 

I was starting to fell left out. Since nobody was telling me what was going on. However, I then noticed that Aiden was completely confused as well. 

"Then why hasn't he contacted us it's been years." Derek said. 

"Maybe he couldn't. Maybe he's being controlled." Allison said. 

"For 8 years. I'm sure he would have found a way to escape by then." Derek said. 

"What if he couldn't. He's human, not a werewolf." Isaac finally spoke. 

Derek grunted and kicked a tree. He knew he would never be able to convince them that Theron was a bad guy, but why don't they think he is. I mean he did try to kill us. 

"OK, is anyone else confused. Why are you defending Theron he tried to kill all of us, and he kidnapped by brother." Aiden said. I could tell he just wanted to get an approval to be able to hunt Theron then run off who knows where to find him. 

"He didn't mean what he did." Lydia said. 

"And he's not a hunter." Allison said. 

"Why are you protecting him, and Why did you say he used to be part of the pack?" Aiden asked. 

"He still is."Scott yelled. He seemed to be in a very delicate mood. "And he's not a hunter. We're not killing him, or even harming him. He is not a threat and we will get him back to normal." Scott finished. 

I was considering asking a question, but saying anything against Theron would make Scott yell or cry. So I decided to simply say one word.

"Why?"I asked, and Scott answered. 

"Because Theron isn't his real name. His name is Stiles. He's my best friend and part of my pack."
