Harley's POV-

Harley couldn't help but feel like it was his fault Peter had to have the arc reactor. He hoped Peter couldn't see the guilt in his eyes when he looked at the glowing circle, but of course, Peter noticed everything. It was as they sat at dinner that night with the team that he mentioned it. He had leaned over and whispered into his ear.

"If you think for one more goddamn second that I regret taking that bullet, I'm revoking your sex privileges." He whispered. Harley blushed deep red and choked on his drink, coughing as he laughed. The rest of the team looked at them strangely as Peter pulled back smirking.

"Goddamn, Parker, you've gotten spicy!" He said through coughs.

"Language, Harley. What did he say?" Steve said. Peter laughed.

"I'm going to leave before Mr. Stark kills me. Go ahead, Harls." He said, standing and walking out.

"He said that if I keep feeling guilty about the arc reactor, he's gonna revoke my sex privileges." Harley said with a grin before dashing out of the room after Peter.

"PETER BENJAMIN PARKER AND HARLEY LEVI ROGERS-STARK!" Tony yelled. Everyone else but Steve were laughing. Clint had fallen out of his chair from laughing so hard.

"Mr. Parker would like to correct Mr. Rogers-Stark and inform you he actually said 'If you think for one more goddamn second that I regret taking that bullet, I'm revoking your sex privileges.' He also said he is going out on patrol." FRIDAY said. "Bye, Mr. Stark!" Peter's voice said through the speakers.

In truth, Peter wasn't going on patrol. He was sitting on the bed with Harley, laughing as they watched the feed of laughing Avengers. Steve hadn't said anything since Harley had run out and he looked pale. Tony was fuming while everyone else laughed. Peter grinned.

"That is exactly the reaction I wanted. Now come on, lover boy. We have a rooftop date to get to." He said. Harley frowned.

"We do? Since when?" He asked as Peter disappeared into his closet.

"Since now!" Peter called. Harley rolled his eyes and went to his room, changing into a black button up, rolling the sleeves up to his elbows and sliding on his dress shoes.

When he returned to Peter's room, the brunette was buttoning up a maroon shirt, smiling at the glow that shone through the fabric. He ran a hand through his brown waves and smiled. He adjusted his web shooters then turned to look at Harley.

"Ready?" He said, opening the window. Harley frowned.

"Wait- nonono you are NOT swinging us there." He said desperately. Peter sighed.

"Harley, I've been doing this for almost three years. I know what I'm doing. You'll be secure the whole time, I promise." He said, moving to him and leaning up to kiss him. "If you're scared, just keep your eyes closed." He pulled him flush to his side and wrapped his arm around his waist, creating a belt of web to keep him secure. He held Harley with one hand and shot a web out the window, swinging them out. Harley screamed in surprise and gripped Peter's shoulders as he squeezed his eyes shut.

"You motherfucker, you could have warned me!" Harley yelled as wind ran past them, Peter swinging easily with one arm.

Peter laughed loudly. "Where's the fun in that?!" He yelled.

Harley stayed hanging onto Peter tightly with his eyes closed for the next two minutes as Peter swung them to their date. The boy touched down lightly on a roof and undid the belt, holding the still tense Harley. "It's over now, Harls. You can open your eyes." He whispered, pecking his lips.

Harley slowly opened one eye then, then they snapped open when he saw the rooftop.

"Oh my god!" He said, looking around in shock.

The rooftop had fairy lights hanging over it, a red blanket laid out over the cement roof with a picnic basket beside it. Peter smiled sheepishly and moved to a Bluetooth speaker, starting soft music.

"I'm a romantic, Harls. So yes, expect a lot of dates like this." He said, walking to the blanket and sitting down. He patted the spot beside him, encouraging Harley to join him. The blonde smiled and sat down beside him, facing the setting sun.

"Peter, this is incredible..." Harley whispered as he sat beside him. "Thank you."

Peter smiled and leaned over, kissing his cheek lovingly.

"It's because I want to do something very important tonight..." He said, then turned to be kneeling in front of him. "Harley, I told you I love you. And I really really do. And... I want promise you something. No matter what, I will be here for you. Even if you leave me someday, I'll always be here, so... I-i want to give you this." He pulled a chain from around his neck. "This is what my uncle Ben gave me when he and Aunt May took me in. It was his promise to take care of me. And I'm passing it on to you."

Harley's eyes were full of tears as he looked at Peter, the younger slipping the chain over Harleys head. He sobbed and pulled him tight to his chest.

"Thank you."
